ALEX FERNÁNDEZ reinventa las reglas del mariachi con su versión del clásico romántico “EL PRIVILEGIO DE AMAR”
MIAMI (29 de octubre de 2021) – Inmerso en una nueva etapa de vida en la que busca dar forma a su propio legado, el Heredero del Mariachi Alex Fernández comparte “El Privilegio de Amar”, segundo sencillo de lo que será el álbum sucesor de su debut: Sigue la Dinastía.
Reinventando las reglas del mariachi mezclando el género con banda, Alex le da un giro muy personal al clásico romántico que Mijares hiciera famoso en la década de los noventa junto a Lucero. Para este, así como con la nueva música que vendrá, el cantante ha formado una dupla creativa con Edén Muñoz, el compositor y cantante de Calibre 50, que recientemente fue reconocido con un premio SESAC como Compositor del Año.
“Estamos haciendo algo muy diferente a lo que veníamos trabajando y me alegra que también se vea en los videos”, cuenta Alex, quien grabó el video de la canción en la Laguna de Sayula, en Guadalajara, Jalisco, bajo la dirección de Christian Schmidt. “Esta es mi tierra y me gusta que me esté acompañando en esta nueva etapa de mi carrera”, destaca el cantante, quien a pesar del cambio no deja de honrar a sus raíces.
“El Privilegio de Amar” llega a poco del lanzamiento de “Buscando el Olvido”, canción que abrió el nuevo rumbo que está tomando el cantante y que recientemente se coloca como #1 de México en el chart popular de Monitor Latino (sistema que monitorea más de 700 estaciones de radio hispana). Con esta, el cantante hizo enloquecer a los asistentes del Hecho en México US, gira de su padre, en la que Alex tuvo una participación estelar como acto abridor y que cerró este pasado 24 de octubre en Phoenix, Arizona.
Próximamente Alex estará dando a conocer más de la música que ha estado preparando junto a Edén Muñoz, una serie de canciones que dan vida a un legado propio. Un conjunto de canciones que llevan la marca personal de El Heredero del Mariachi.
Este viernes 29 de octubre, Alex se presentara en el Palenque de Gómez Palacio en donde el público podrá apreciar el show de este artista con un gran futuro.
ALEX FERNÁNDEZ Reinvents The Rules Of Mariachi With His Version Of The Romantic Classic “EL PRIVILEGIO DE AMAR”
MIAMI (October 29, 2021) – Immersed in a new phase of his career, the third-generation ranchera singer Alex Fernández releases “El Privilegio de Amar,” the second single from his forthcoming sophomore album, which will continue to shape the emerging legacy he unveiled on his debut LP Sigue la Dinastía (2019).
Reinventing the rules of mariachi by adding elements of brass banda, Alex gives a personal touch to the romantic classic originally released in 1998 by the Mexican singers Mijares and Lucero. For the production of this song and other tracks on the upcoming album, Alex worked with Calibre 50 frontman and songwriter Edén Muñoz, who was recently named Songwriter of the Year by SESAC Latina.
Alex emphasizes that he is remaining true to his roots, yet spurring his musical legacy on to new places: “We are taking things in a very different direction from what we had been, and I’m glad it’s coming out in the music videos as well.”
The music video was filmed at Sayula Lake in Guadalajara, Jalisco, under the direction of Christian Schmidt. As he reminds us, “this is where I’m from and I am pleased to be showing it off in this new era of my career.”
“El Privilegio de Amar” is the follow-up single to “Buscando el Olvido,” which was our first glimpse of Alex’s new style. It recently hit #1 on monitorLATINO’s Regional Mexican chart in Mexico, which is based on airplay from over 700 radio stations. Furthermore, Alex opened for his famous father Alejandro Fernández on his recent Hecho en México US tour, which concluded on October 24 in Phoenix.
In short order, Alex will release more music from his Edén Muñoz sessions as he continues crafting a unique style and living up to his nickname as The Heir to the Mariachi Throne.
Today, October 29, Alex will be making more new fans with his performance at the Palenque (country fair) in Goméz Palacio, Durango.
