CHOCQUIBTOWN se une a LIL SILVIO & EL VEGA Y LA ROSS MARÍA para celebrar el lanzamiento de “MORENA” en honor al Mes de le Herencia Hispana
MIAMI (4 de octubre de 2021) — Hoy, la banda colombiana ChocQuibTown lanzó su canción “Morena” junto a Lil Silvio & El Vega y La Ross María. Mira el video AQUÍ.
“Morena” es un tema que invita a bailar y dedicar, y a pesar de que pudiera parecer que hace referencia a un tono de piel específico, es una canción que lo que pretende es resaltar la belleza de las mujeres y a volver a creer en el amor a primera vista en general.
Esta colaboración se dio como resultado de un video viral de ChocQuibTown y Lil Silvio & El Vega. Ellos estaban en el estudio trabajando en lo que sería esta canción cuando adelantaron lo que sería el coro. Ese pedazo se volvió viral en TikTok con más de 40 mil videos utilizándolo, y es así como La Ross María lo escucha y decide subir un video cantándolo.
El video de La Ross María generó mucho interés por parte de sus fans, quienes fueron los que hicieron que la interpretación de la joven dominicana llegara a los oídos de los veteranos colombianos.
“No imaginé realmente estar en el tema, es uno de mis favoritos y creo que será un hit con el favor de Dios, fue un honor y un placer trabajar con ChocQuibTown y Lil Silvio & El Vega y ya quiero poder vacilármelo públicamente”, dijo La Ross María.
ChocQuibTown por su parte incluyó toda la producción que los identifica siempre y llevó al tema a un ritmo contagioso que no deja a nadie sin moverse. La unión con Lil Silvio & El Vega da todo el tono caribe que desde ya se adelanta como el hit de las vacaciones de fin de año.
El video de la canción fue grabado entre Miami y República Dominicana contando con la presencia de todos los artistas bajo la dirección de Squid y la productora Wild House.
Este es el primer sencillo del nuevo álbum de ChocQuibTown, que sale luego de ChocQuibHouse, un álbum que terminó su proceso con cuatruple disco de Platino en Colombia, doble disco de platino en Estados Unidos y varios discos de Oro alrededor de la región latina.
Sobre ChoQuibTown: ChocQuibTown es un grupo de hip-hop colombiano que fusiona varios géneros musicales. Los miembros son originarios del departamento colombiano de Chocó. CHOCQUIBTOWN Join Lil Silvio & El Vega And La Ross Maria To Celebrate The Launch Of “MORENA” In Honor Of Hispanic Heritage Month
MIAMI (October 4, 2021) — Today, Colombian band ChocQuibTown released their song “Morena” with Lil Silvio & El Vega and La Ross María. Watch the video HERE.
“Morena” is a song that invites you to dance and dedicate, and although it might seem like it refers to a specific skin tone, it’s a song that aims to highlight the beauty of women and encourage people to believe in love at first sight.
This collaboration came about because of a viral video from ChocQuibTown and Lil Silvio & El Vega. They were in the studio working on what this song would be when they previewed the chorus. That part of the song went viral on TikTok with more than 40K videos using it. After it went viral La Ross María heard it and decided to jump on the trend, recording and posting a video of her singing it.
La Ross María’s video generated a lot of interest from her fans, who were the ones who made this performance of the young Dominican reach the ears of the Colombian veterans.
“I honestly didn’t think I’d be part of this track, it’s one of my favorites and I think it will be a hit with the grace of God. It was an honor and pleasure to work with ChocQuibTown and Lil Silvio & El Vega and I can’t wait to be able to sing and dance to this song in public,” said La Ross María.
ChocQuibTown made sure the production included their own style and flavor that identifies them, infusing the track with a contagious rhythm that makes everybody want to dance. The collaboration with Lil Silvio & El Vega added the extra Caribbean feeling that will make this song the hit for the end of year holidays.
The video was shot between Miami and the Dominican Republic under the direction of Squid and the Wild House production company.
This is the first single from the new ChocQuibTown album, which comes after ChocQuibHouse, an album that ended with a four-time Platinum certification in Colombia, a double-platinum certification in the United States and several Gold certifications around the Latin American region.
