DE LA TIERRA regresa con su primera música inédita en cuatro años “DISTINTOS”
MIAMI (2 de octubre de 2020) – El rock latino está de vuelta con “Distintos”, el primer lanzamiento inédito del grupo multinacional De La Tierra en casi cuatro años. Este sencillo se encuentra disponible en todas las plataformas de música digital, y el video se puede disfrutar en su canal de YouTube.
“Distintos” formará parte de lo que será el segundo álbum de este cuarteto de la mano de Sony Music Latin.
La introducción de esta canción llama la atención al instante con su hermosa mezcla de guitarra y bajo. Melódica y apasionante, “Distintos” tiene un mensaje esperanzador: “somos los que seguiremos fieles, fieles por haber sido elegidos, para hacer real todos los sueños”.
Realizado por Penumbrart, el joven director argentino radicado en la Ciudad de México, el video musical, en blanco y negro, intercala escenas de los músicos con imágenes atemporales y humanistas.
Su álbum anterior II (2016) fue nominado al Latin GRAMMY® y contiene los éxitos “Señales”, “Puro” y “Fome”.
Todos los miembros de este grupo ya contaban con una trayectoria formidable cuando formaron De La Tierra en el 2013 para crear una propuesta única que rockea desenfrenadamente sin dejar de fusionar influencias latinas e incorporar letra cargada de sabiduría y buenos consejos.
De La Tierra es formado por 4 amigos latinoamericanos de los cuales todos actualmente son miembros de otras reconocidas bandas. El guitarrista brasileño Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), el vocalista/guitarrista argentino Andrés Giménez (A.N.I.M.A.L.), el bajista puertorriqueño Harold Hopkins (Puya) y el baterista cubano-mexicano Alex González (Maná).
A pesar de sus múltiples compromisos, los integrantes de De La Tierra siguen reuniéndose para deleitar a sus seguidores con un concepto donde cada músico aporta sus respectivas tradiciones culturales para unir a los latinos por toda América.
DE LA TIERRA Returns With Its First New Music In Four Years “DISTINTOS”
MIAMI (October 2, 2020) – Latin rock is back with “Distintos,” the first new music by the multi-national De La Tierra in almost four years. This single is available from all digital-music outlets, while the music video can be enjoyed on the band’s YouTube channel.
“Distintos” will be included on De La Tierra’s upcoming album, which will be its second on Sony Music Latin.
The intro grabs our attention instantly with its gorgeous interplay of guitar and bass. Melodic and passionate, “Distintos” carries a hopeful message in its lyrics: “somos los que seguiremos fieles, fieles por haber sido elegidos, para hacer real todos los sueños” (we are the ones who will remain faithful, faithful for having been chosen, to make all the dreams real).
Filmed by the young Argentine-born, Mexico City-based director Penumbrart, the black-and-white music video combines scenes of the band with timeless, humanist imagery.
Their previous album II (2016) was nominated for a Latin GRAMMY® and featured the hit singles “Señales,” “Puro” and “Fome.”
All of the group’s members already enjoyed formidable careers when they formed De La Tierra in 2013 to create a unique concept. They can rock as hard as any band, while still deftly fusing Latin influences and incorporating lyrics filled with hard-won wisdom and good advice.
De La Tierra is comprised of 4 latin American brothers who play in other renowned groups, in which they remain active – guitarist Andreas Kisser from Brazil (Sepultura), vocalist/guitarist Andrés Giménez from Argentina (A.N.I.M.A.L.), bass player Harold Hopkins from Puerto Rico, (Puya) and the Cuban-Mexican drummer Alex González (Maná).
In spite of their multiple commitments, the members of De La Tierra continue making time to get together and delight their followers with a concept that lets each musician add his cultural traditions to an explosive rock sound that unites Latinos across the Americas.
