El artista panameño BOZA lanza el video “SAN ANDRÉS” y reflexiona sobre las fallas de su realidad durante el mes de la salud mental

MIAMI (23 de mayo de 2022) – Luego de generar más de 500 millones de reproducciones globales con su segundo álbum de estudio Bucle y marcar tendencia en las redes sociales, el artista multi-platino Boza, presenta el video de su tema “San Andrés”. Como una de las canciones más personales del cantautor, “San Andrés” nace durante un momento de insomnio y soledad en donde el artista hizo una pausa para expresar todo lo que estaba experimentando en ese momento. ” San Andrés” fue compuesto por Boza e Irving Quintero “Faster” y estuvo bajo la producción de Faster. Con una melodía suave y una fusión de sonidos interesantes, Boza desnuda su alma como nunca antes, donde menciona como anécdota la falla sísmica de San Andrés para describir el estado mental de personas en ciertos momentos. “San Adres”, es mi canción favorita del álbum, la escribí a las 3-4 de la madrugada en un momento de insomnio, es un tema que me salió del alma. Escribir es la mejor forma de expresar mis sentimientos. Me desahogué y permití que conocieran otra parte de Boza. Con esto en mente, creamos este video musical en donde lucho contra todos los obstáculos que a veces hay en mi mente y al final solo yo puedo salvarme”, expresó el artista nominado al Latin GRAMMY®”.
El video musical estuvo bajo la dirección de Daniel Bethencourt y se filmó en Breckenridge, Colorado. Entre montañas y nieve, aparece Boza caminando solo buscando su camino. A lo largo del video se muestra al artista atravesando por un proceso difícil representado por la nieve, el frío y las grietas, sin embargo, está buscando la forma de salir de ese momento difícil y, aunque se cae, luego de la tormenta siempre llega la paz. Sin lugar a duda, los visuales van de la mano con todo lo que sintió Boza al escribir la canción.
“San Andrés” forma parte de Bucle, que fue el álbum en español más escuchado de la lista Top Albums Debut de Spotify. Como uno de los videos más esperados de fanáticos alrededor del mundo, “San Andrés” es el tema de este álbum que ha generado más vistas en YT (1.8M) y casi un millón de reproducciones en plataformas digitales. Adicionalmente, el tema logró llegar al No. 1 en las listas de Spotify y Apple Music latinas, convirtiéndose en la tendencia No. 1 en YouTube Panamá.

MIAMI (May 23, 2022) – After accumulating more than 500 million global streams with his second studio album Bucle and trending across social media platforms, multi-platinum recording artist Boza presents the music video for his song “San Andrés”. Being one of his more personal songs, the singer-songwriter penned “San Andrés” during a period of insomnia as well as loneliness, using that time to pause and reflect on all the things he was experiencing at the moment. Released under Sony Music Latin, the video is aimed at increasing awareness during Mental Health Awareness Month especially because of its lyrics and how much the track personally means to Boza. The track was written by Boza and Irving Quintero “Faster” and was produced by Faster. With a soft melody and a fusion of unique sounds, Boza bares his soul like never before in “San Andrés”, where he uses the San Andreas fault as an anecdote to describe how certain situations affect people’s mental health. “As I mentioned before, this is my favorite song on the album, and I wrote it at 3-4 in the morning during a moment of insomnia.
