MIAMI (19 de octubre de 2021) – Fito Paez presenta “Vamos a lograrlo“, primer adelanto de su nuevo álbum Los años salvajes. Este disco, próximo a salir en el mes de noviembre, forma parte de una inmensa obra compuesta por tres álbumes diferentes. Los años salvajes es entonces el álbum inicial de esta trilogía. Incluye nuevas canciones inéditas, grabadas junto a músicos de primer nivel en los estudios Igloo Music (Burbank, California), EastWest Studios (Hollywood, California) y El Mostro de la Laguna (Lobos, Provincia de Buenos Aires). Fue producido por Fito Paez, Diego Olivero y Gustavo Borner. A principios de 2022 conoceremos el segundo álbum que integra esta obra integral. Es totalmente instrumental y fue grabado por Paez junto a la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional Checa. El tercer álbum también incluye canciones inéditas, pero grabadas por Fito solo con su piano. Acerca de “Vamos a lograrlo“, Paez nos cuenta: “Es una de las primeras canciones que compuse para ‘Los Años Salvajes’. Casi siempre empiezo a armar un groove, a probar armonías, a cantar e improvisar melodías, y a tirar alguna palabra que me dé pistas sobre lo que pueda estar queriendo transmitir o contar esa música. Busco que la letra y la música no estén disociadas, que vayan los dos elementos en una misma dirección.Esta canción nace en medio de la pandemia; las palabras casi que surgieron solas, ‘vamos a lograrlo’ como un ‘vamos a salir de esta situación’, y también un ‘dónde está lo importante’. Y la historia se repite, cuando dice ‘Todos los caminos llevan a Roma, toda sangre lleva inscripta un dolor’ y, en el medio de todo eso, también ‘Yo solo quiero tu sonrisa, una cerveza, un cigarro, una pizza y que salgamos a besarnos al sol’. Hace foco sobre las cosas que considero importantes, que son siempre más chiquitas y no tan fatuas.Al final termina como un pandemónium, todos juntos vamos a lograrlo: ante esta situación hay que sumar todas las voluntades, la inteligencia, la lucidez para poder enfrentarla y frenarla. Y nace algo vinculado a lo colectivo: cuando lo colectivo se pone de acuerdo, las cosas se encauzan y toman una mejor dirección.‘Vamos A Lograrlo’ es la canción que abre el disco y es también una invitación pagana para bailar y recuperar la onda. La música nombra lo que necesitamos ahora, es una canción coyuntural y, a la vez, no…vamos a lograrlo es muchísimo, y cada uno puede tomarlo como prefiera. No tiene que ver con la idea de que todo se puede, esa idea no me convence. Vamos a logarlo es más chiquito también…hoy salimos a la calle a besarnos al sol. MIAMI (October 19, 2021) – Fito Paez releases “Vamos a lograrlo“, the first single from his awaited new album Los años salvajes. This record, coming out in November, is part of an integral oeuvre, consisting of three different albums. Los años salvajes is the initial album opening this trilogy. It features new songs by Paez recorded with an international cast of top musicians at Igloo Music (Burbank, California), EastWest Studios (Hollywood, California), and El Mostro de la Laguna (Lobos, Buenos Aires). It was produced by Fito Paez, Diego Olivero, and Gustavo Borner. The second album of this collection will be available at the begging of 2022.It is a completely instrumental work, composed by Fito and recorded by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. The third album also includes new songs written by the argentine artist, this time recorded alone with his voice and piano. About “Vamos a lograrlo“, Paez tells us: “It’s one of the first songs I wrote for ‘Los años salvajes’. Most of the times, I start with a groove, trying harmonies, singing, and improvising melodies, dropping some lyrics that could give me a clue of what I’m trying to transmit or tell with that music. I want the lyrics and the music not to be dissociated, the two elements going in the same direction. This song was conceived in the middle of the pandemic; the words almost appeared on their own, ‘vamos a lograrlo’ (we will make it) as in ‘vamos a salir de esta situación’ (we will get through this situation), and ‘dónde está lo importante’ (where the important things are). And history repeats itself when it says ‘Todos los caminos llevan a Roma, toda sangre lleva inscripta un dolor’ (All roads lead to Rome, all blood carries pain), also ‘Yo solo quiero tu sonrisa, una cerveza, un cigarro, una pizza y que salgamos a besarnos al sol’ (I only want your smile, a beer, a cigar, a pizza, and to make out under the sun). It focuses on the things I consider to be important, which are always small and not so vain.The ending is like a pandemonium, we will get through this together: to face this situation we need to join our wills, intelligence, and have the clarity to face it and stop it. And something related to the collective is then born; when the collective comes to terms, things channel and take a better direction.‘Vamos a lograrlo’ is the opening song of the record, and it’s also a pagan invitation to dance and recover the vibe. The lyric points out what we need right now, it’s a contextual song…and at the same time it’s not; ‘vamos a lograrlo’ can be a lot of things, and everyone can take it as they prefer. It has nothing to do with the idea that everything is possible, I’m not convinced by that. ‘Vamos a lograrlo’ is also the smaller…today we go out to the streets, to rejoice under the sun.
