IR-SAIS presenta “DREAM GIRL REMIX” junto a RAUW ALEJANDRO
MIAMI (6 de diciembre de 2019) – Luego del éxito de “Dream Girl” y la tendencia del divertido #DreamChallenge viral, el cantante y compositor Ir-Sais le pone calidez al invierno con su “Dream Girl Remix” junto a la revelación urbana Rauw Alejandro. Este sencillo y video se encuentran disponibles a partir de hoy en todas las plataformas de música digital y a través del canal de YouTube de Ir-Sais.
Nacido en la isla antillana de Bonaire, el artista holandés Ir-Sais se expresa muy contento con esta colaboración: “Trabajar con Rauw Alejandro es un placer, un honor. Yo le doy gracias a Dios por poder conocer a un artista súper talentoso con muchas ideas y con mucho flow. Yo fui un fan de Rauw Alejandro desde el comienzo”.
Por su parte, el emergente cantante y rapero boricua Rauw Alejandro afirma ser aficionado de esta canción, y agrega que llegaba a los estudios de grabación con muchas ganas de aportar su gran talento: “Desde que me hicieron el acercamiento para participar en ‘Dream Girl Remix’ estaba loco por que saliera el tema y todavía no había ni grabado las voces. Tenía todo creado en mi mente, fue muy divertido… en tan solo segundos se convirtió en una de mis canciones favoritas. Gracias Ir- Sais por contar conmigo”.
Impulsado por el #DreamChallenge, esta canción ha desatado una tendencia de baile, inspirado por una animación no oficial de Homer Simpson bailando. Jóvenes por todo el mundo han publicado videos de sus coreografías, tanto en reuniones en casa como en clases de fitness y hasta en la playa. Mientras tanto, el audio de la canción y el video oficial han superado los 27.5 millones de vistas en YouTube desde su lanzamiento original en septiembre 2017.
Rodado en la ciudad portuaria de Willemstad, Curazao, por el director QD El Mago, el video musical de “Dream Girl Remix” protagonizado por los dos artistas demuestra la belleza de las Islas de Sotavento que vieron nacer a Ir-Sais.
Esta canción urbana cargada de ambiente romántico y tropical nos deja con las ganas de escucharla una y otra vez, y bailarla en compañía de amigos.
Para muchos oyentes, la letra tiene una mezcla de palabras entendibles y otras no tanto, pues Ir-Sais en sus grabaciones maneja el idioma papiamento, el lenguaje de Bonaire que tiene raíces en el portugués, el español, el holandés al igual que idiomas africanos.
Ir-Sais es el nombre artístico de Irgwin Placido Sluis. A los 11 años, empezó a tocar batería con latas de aluminio. Con una formación musical íntegramente autodidacta, Ir-Sais ahora domina muchos instrumentos al igual que la producción. Después de probar el éxito con varias bandas populares de Bonaire, se fue a radicar en Holanda en el 2008, emprendiendo una exitosa carrera en solitario donde mezcla el pop con el ritmo caribeño de zouk.

Born on the Antillean island of Bonaire, the Dutch artist Ir-Sais is very pleased with how this collaboration turned out: “Working with Rauw Alejandro is a pleasure, an honor. Propelled by the trending #DreamChallenge, this song has created a dance craze, inspired by an unofficial animation of Homer Simpson dancing. Young people around the world have uploaded videos of their choreography in house parties, on the beach and in fitness classes. Meanwhile, the cover audio and official video have surpassed 27.5 million YouTube views since the song’s original September 2017 release.

For many listeners, the lyrics are only partially intelligible. In fact, Ir-Sais recorded this song and much of his material in Papiamento, the language of Bonaire with roots in Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch and African languages.
Ir-Sais is the artistic moniker of Irgwin Placido Sluis. At 11, he began playing drums on tin cans. Completely self-taught, Ir-Sais now masters several instruments as well as the production side. After getting his first taste of success with local Bonaire bands, he moved to the Netherlands in 2008, launching a solo career with original material that fuses pop with the Caribbean zouk rhythm.
