JON THE PRODUCER ganador del Latin GRAMMY® lanza su sencillo debut “DOCTOR” y se une a las superestrellas latinas MAU Y RICKY, PRINCE ROYCE y PISO 21
MIAMI (23 de abril de 2021) – Después de firmar con la compañía Good Family Group en un proyecto en conjunto con Sony Music Latin en noviembre pasado, Jon The Producer, productor multi platino lanza su sencillo debut “Doctor”. Para este primer tema unió fuerzas con las grandes estrellas latinas Mau y Ricky, Prince Royce y Piso 21, con las cuales ha colaborado frecuentemente como productor. En el divertido video se puede observar a los chicos intentando superar una depresión amorosa.
Jon Leone, conocido profesionalmente como Jon The Producer ganó el Latin GRAMMY® en noviembre del año pasado en la categoría de “Mejor Canción Pop” por el éxito ganador del disco de Diamante “Tutu” interpretado por el colombiano Camilo. También fue nominado a un GRAMMY® en la categoría de “Best Latin Pop or Urban Album”, por el disco Por Primera Vez de Camilo, el cual ha sido reconocido como doble platino por sus altas ventas. En total han sido 6 ocasiones las cuales Jon ha estado nominado a este galardón del Latin GRAMMY®, convirtiéndolo en uno de los productores más exitosos del momento. Poco después de estos reconocimientos Jon anunció su firma bajo el sello Good Family Group de Cristóbal Brito y Armando Lozano en sociedad con Sony Music Latin.
“Doctor” es el primer sencillo de Jon The Producer como artista, para este tema el franco-americano se reencontró con viejos conocidos, entre ellos los hermanos venezolanos Mau y Ricky a quienes anteriormente produjo algunos de sus más grandes éxitos como el 4 veces disco de platino “Desconocidos” y “La Boca”, así como con el artista global multiplatino Prince Royce y el super grupo colombiano Piso 21. En este tema los chicos le cantan de una manera sensual y contagiosa a un amor perdido el cual esperan que los perdone y vuelva.
El video de “Doctor” fue dirigido por Andrés Infante y se lleva a cabo como si fuera una comedia romántica. Todo inicia cuando Jon pide que le traduzcan como se dice “brokenhearted” en español, mientras toma un baño con burbujas para tratar de sentirse mejor. Mientras la historia se desarrolla podemos ver a Prince Royce comiendo helado en la cama, mientras que Mau y Ricky y Piso 21 reciben tratamientos de belleza y spa en sus casas, todo con tal de salir de la depresión que les ha ocasionado la ruptura amorosa de la cual saben fueron culpables.
Entre los trabajos más importantes de Jon como productor, se encuentran “Sin Pijama” de Becky G y Natti Natasha el cual fue 38 veces disco de platino, así como “No Me Acuerdo” de la estrella mexicana Thalía, el cual obtuvo 4 veces disco de platino y en donde también participó la dominicana Natti Natasha. Las producciones de Jon suman más de 5 mil millones de visitas en YouTube, más de 3 mil millones de transmisiones en Spotify y han ocupado los primeros lugares de las listas de éxitos a nivel mundial. MIAMI (April 23, 2021) – After signing with Good Family Group in a joint venture with Sony Music Latin in November, multi-Platinum Latin producer Jon The Producer has released his debut single “Doctor.” For his first outing as an artist, he joined forces with his frequent collaborators and Latin stars Mau y Ricky, Prince Royce, and Piso 21. In the cinematic music video, the guys try to overcome heartbreak at home.
Jon Leone goes professionally by Jon The Producer. After receiving six Latin GRAMMY® Award nominations, in November he won “Best Pop Song” for Colombian singer Camilo’s Diamond-certified hit “Tutu.” Jon The Producer produced Camilo’s double-Platinum breakthrough album Por Primera Vez. He was also nominated for a GRAMMY® Award for the Billboard #1 album in March. Shortly after that news, Jon The Producer announced his signing with label and management group Good Family Group by Cristóbal Brito and Armando Lozano, in a partnership with Sony Music Latin.
“Doctor” is Jon The Producer’s first release as an artist. The French-American producer reunites with Venezuelan stars Mau y Ricky. Previously, he produced the duo’s 4-times Platinum hits “Desconocidos” and “La Boca.” Dominican-American global multiplatinum artist Prince Royce and hit making Colombian super group Piso 21 also join Jon The Producer. The music video “Doctor,” directed by Andres Infante plays out like a romantic comedy movie. Jon The Producer asks for the translation of “brokenhearted” in Spanish. Like Mau y Ricky, Prince Royce, and Piso 21, Jon The Producer can be seen at home trying to make himself feel better with a bubble bath. Prince Royce treats himself to a pint of ice cream in bed while Mau y Ricky and Piso 21 give themselves spa and beauty treatments.
