La joven cantante y compositora MARIANGELA se une a la familia de Sony Music Latin
MIAMI (16 de febrero de 2022) – La joven compositora y cantante mexicana Mariangela se convierte en miembro de la familia Sony Music Latin. Con solo 20 años, esta talentosa joven esparce la emoción y el sentimiento que hacía falta en el pop latino. Con un verdadero espíritu de autora integral, es la compositora de todo su material.
Mariangela nació en la ciudad de Monterrey, Nuevo León; y pasó gran parte de su infancia en Texas, donde vive actualmente. Creció influenciada por este contexto bicultural, así como las raíces veracruzanas por parte de su padre.
Se ha ganado el respeto por su prodigiosa voz, lo identificable de sus letras de canciones, melodías memorables, su contagiosa personalidad y además por ser autodidacta en su habilidad tocando piano y guitarra; Mariangela es la clase de artista, única en la escena actual, que busca ser versátil y sonar distinta a todos los demás.
El presidente de Sony Music US Latin, Alex Gallardo, le dio la bienvenida a Mariangela al elenco artístico: “Mariangela es una artista que se presenta como si hubiera estado en la escena por años. Rememora la inmensa alegría que nos deja presenciar un talento multifacético completamente original. Los fans de la música latina están deseosos de escuchar su refrescante voz”.
“Me ilusiona mucho este paso tan grande en mi carrera con un equipo tan lleno de luz y buenas intenciones como siempre lo soñé,” expresó Mariangela. “Firmar con Sony es como darle un abrazo gigante a mi yo de 8 años, que siempre soñó con algo así, pero lo veía casi imposible. Me siento muy en familia y full apoyo con Sony y estoy muy emocionada por lo que viene, definitivamente un milestone que siempre voy a recordar”.
Muy pronto, Mariangela estrenará su primer sencillo, “Himalaya”, de la mano de Sony Music Latin.

MIAMI (February 16, 2022) – Mexican singer-songwriter Mariangela joins the Sony Music Latin family. The 20-year-old rising act is bringing emotion and feeling back to Latin pop music. With a true auteur’s spirit, she is the sole writer of all of her material.
Mariangela was born in Monterrey and spent much of her childhood in Texas, where she currently resides. She is influenced by this bicultural background, as well as the Veracruz roots of her father.
Respected for her gifted singing voice, her relatable lyrics, her memorable melodies, her engaging personality, and her self-taught ability to play piano and guitar, Mariangela is the kind of artist, unique on today’s scene, who seeks to be as versatile as possible, and sound different from everyone else.
Sony Music Latin president, Álex Gallardo welcomed Mariangela to the roster: “Mariangela is an artist who carries herself as if she has been in the scene for years. She reminds us of what a joy it is to be in the presence of an original and multifaceted act. Latin music fans are eager to hear her refreshing new voice.”
