Las superestrellas latinas MAU Y RICKY se unen a la joven revelación argentina MARIA BECERRA en su nuevo tema y video musical “MAL ACOSTUMBRAO”
El lanzamiento musical llega luego de que el dúo venezolano agotara su gira por Argentina y su reconocimiento como Finalistas a los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina
MIAMI (2 de septiembre de 2021) – Las superestrellas latinas Mau y Ricky estrenan su nuevo sencillo y vídeo “Mal Acostumbrao”. En el nuevo video musical los hermanos venezolanos nos invitan a recordar esos primeros amores en esos lugares casuales de citas como un parque de patinaje o las canchas de baloncesto donde los sentimientos de comenzar a enamorarse surgen por primera vez. En esta ocasión junto a la joven revelación latina Maria Becerra los tres artistas nos regalan un material audiovisual lleno de simbología, como las mariposas que comenzamos a sentir cuando recién nos enamoramos. “Mal Acostumbrao” es el nuevo sencillo de Mau y Ricky desde el comienzo de su actual era con “3 de La Mañana” junto a Sebastián Yatra y Mora el pasado junio. Ahora se unen a Maria Becerra, quien es la artista con más streams en Argentina y una joven revelación en la música latina. En este nuevo tema que nos presentan, el innovador dúo de hermanos Mau y Ricky mezclan la música urbana latina con influencias de la música pop de los 80’s. La cálida canción de amor nos invita a recordar aquellos primeros acercamientos. Los tres artistas visitan varios de los lugares populares para citas en Miami como el parque de patinaje, las canchas de baloncesto y un campo de golf para pasar un buen rato y donde en muchas ocasiones el amor es el principal invitado. Los maravillosos efectos visuales como mariposas volando en reversa o burbujas flotando alrededor de los artistas son un símbolo de los sentimientos detrás del enamoramiento. Para este nuevo vídeo los hermanos Montaner trabajaron con su productora de confianza WEOWNTHECITY y los directores Richard Mountainous y Santiago Lafee. “Ya teníamos mucho tiempo queriendo trabajar con Maria y fue muy cómico porque el día de la sesión Maria tendría que haber llegado un día antes, pero se retrasó su vuelo y no íbamos a poder hacerla y después se retrasó nuestro vuelo de salida de Argentina también, entonces sí logramos coincidir…ella llegó como a las 2 de la tarde y nosotros nos teníamos que ir como a las 6, así que tuvimos como cuatro horas para escribir y grabar todo el tema. Hemos estado siguiendo la movida de lo que ha estado sucediendo aquí con la música de Argentina desde cerquita, y poder venir hasta acá a hacer el tema con Big One y ver cómo trabajan, fue increíble. La verdad es que la pasamos espectacular, estamos seguros que es la primera de muchas cosas que haremos juntos. Ella estuvo con la mejor disposición con nosotros para el video y para todo, fue una jornada de grabación larga, de un par de días, y se animó a hacer todo lo que le propusimos. La verdad es que fue espectacular. Esperamos que a la gente le guste mucho esta canción que habla de empezar a enamorarse de una persona que te vuelve loca” comentan Mau y Ricky. Mau y Ricky son Finalistas en la categoría Latin Pop Duo/Group of the Year en los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2021. “Mal Acostumbrao” is Mau y Ricky’s first new single since the start of their new era with “3 de La Mañana” in June. They previously collaborated with Sebastián Yatra and Mora. Now they teamed up with Maria Becerra, who is the most-streamed artist in Argentina. Always innovating, Mau y Ricky blended Latin urban music with influences of ‘80s pop music. “We wanted to work with Maria for a long time and it was very funny because on the day of our session, she was supposed to arrive the day before, but her flight was delayed and we were not going to be able to do it. Then our flight out of Argentina was delayed, so our schedules had some overlap. She arrived around 2 in the afternoon and had to leave around 6, so we had like four hours to write the whole song and record it. We have been closely following the music movement happening in Argentina, and to be able to do the song with the Big One, to see how he works, was incredible. The truth is we had the best time. We’re sure that this is the first of many things that we’ll do together. Maria had the best attitude shooting the music video with us. There were long recording days and she was up for everything that we wanted to do.
