MIAMI (12 de noviembre de 2021) – Canciones Del Alma, el aclamado álbum del cantante y compositor puertorriqueño Luis Figueroa, ahora tendrá un cautivante acompañante visual. Hoy se estrena la primera parte de la versión visual del álbum en su canal de YouTube. Cada semana hasta el 30 de noviembre se revelará otra parte del álbum. Mañana 13 de noviembre a las 10:30 p.m. hora local, este álbum visual será transmitido en su totalidad por Telemundo Puerto Rico y presentado por Goya. Los temas de Canciones Del Alma forman parte de sus recuerdos más profundos de familia, de su crecimiento musical, y de momentos claves en su carrera. Los visuales fueron filmados en Miami por el director argentino Leonardo Linkowski. Podemos apreciar las actuaciones de Luis en un marco íntimo, al igual que las habilidades de sus músicos. Este lanzamiento es acompañado por su sencillo de salida “Tú Con Él”, uno de los primeros éxitos en solitario que grabó el legendario talento de la salsa Frankie Ruíz en 1985. “Recuerdo cuando él falleció (en 1998)”, Luis expresa. “Mi madre lloró, nunca la había visto tan herida y triste. Lo que lo distinguió de los demás fue el color de su voz”. Hasta la fecha, de Canciones Del Alma se han desprendido dos exitosos sencillos que rinden homenaje a sus raíces en la música tropical. En su onceava semana en la lista “Tropical Airplay” de Billboard,“Si Tú Me Dices Ven (Versión Salsa)” se mantiene en el puesto #6 por 12 semanas, su posición más alta hasta la fecha. En julio, “Hasta El Sol De Hoy (Versión Salsa)” llegó a la cima de “Tropical Airplay”. MIAMI (November 12, 2021) – Canciones Del Alma, the acclaimed album by the Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Luis Figueroa, will now have a captivating visual component. The first part of the visual album premieres today on his YouTube channel. The rest of the visuals will be released on a weekly basis until November 30.
Tomorrow, November 13, at 10:30 p.m. San Juan time, the visual album will be broadcast in its entirety in a special presentation by Telemundo Puerto Rico, sponsored by Goya.
The romantic tracks of Canciones Del Alma comprise Luis’ deepest memories of family, musical growth, and key moments in his career. Visuals were filmed in Miami by the Argentine director Leonardo Linkowski. We get to enjoy Luis’ performances in an intimate setting where he’s joined by his talented musicians.
This release is accompanied by the focus track “Tú Con Él,” one of the first solo hits recorded by the legendary salsero Frankie Ruíz in 1985. “I remember when he passed away (in 1998), my mom cried,” Luis recalls. “I had never seen her so hurt and sad. What distinguished him from others was the color of his voice.”
So far, Canciones Del Alma has produced two hit singles that pay tribute to Luis’ tropical-music roots. In its eleventh week on the Billboard “Tropical Airplay” chart, “Si Tú Me Dices Ven (Versión Salsa)” remains at #6 for twelve weeks in a row, its peak position so far. In July, “Hasta El Sol De Hoy (Versión Salsa)” made it all the way to #1 on “Tropical Airplay.” It also had a major impact on the “Latin Pop Airplay” chart, reaching #8, a major achievement for a salsa recording by a new artist.
More than a revealing production about the musical roots of this emerging artist, Canciones Del Alma is a showcase of Luis’ unmistakable voice. The arrangements of these songs, produced by the Ecuadorian musician Homero Gallardo, are influenced by pop, bolero, jazz and acoustic music. The salsa versions are produced by Jay Lugo.

Luis will return to his birthplace of Philadelphia, for the city’s official Thanksgiving Day parade, where he will sing “Si Tú Me Dices Ven” and receive the Latino Heritage award. The parade will be broadcast live via ABC 6 Philadelphia.
His followers will also have the chance to hear him sing at select concerts headlined by his mentor Marc Anthony. After opening several dates on Marc Anthony’s previous Opus tour, Luis will once again raise the curtain for his longtime friend on his current Pa’lla Voy Tour in Phoenix, Orlando, Miami and San Jose, California. Canciones Del Alma includes a version of “Si Te Vas” inspired by Marc Anthony’s 1998 signature take on the song.
