LUPITA INFANTE La nueva y asombrosa cantante y compositora de música regional mexicana se une a la familia de Sony Music Latin
Miami, FL (30 de marzo 2022) — La cantante y compositora mexicoamericana nominada al Latin GRAMMY®, Lupita Infante, da un gran paso en su desarrollo artístico al firmar con Sony Music Latin.
Lupita Infante combina la tradición familiar – es hija del aclamado cantante y actor Pedro Infante Jr. y nieta del legendario Pedro Infante – con una rigurosa formación en la música de mariachi como egresada del programa de Etnomusicología de la UCLA.
Fue nominada al Latin GRAMMY® 2020 con la canción “Dejare” y al GRAMMY® 2021 gracias a su álbum debut, La Serenata (2019), cuyo exitoso sencillo que da nombre al disco fue co-escrito por la misma Lupita Infante y presenta un mensaje feminista y empoderador. A inicios de 2022, firmó con Sony Music Latin mientras su carrera continúa desarrollándose y expandiéndose.

Una fusión de música de mariachi, norteña y sierreña, utiliza hábilmente letras con múltiples significados para retratar a una mujer que se hace cargo de los contornos de una relación.
Lupita Infante ha estado ocupada escribiendo y grabando su segundo álbum, y su lanzamiento en Sony Music Latin presentará su personalidad, voz y fascinantes ideas musicales a nuevas y vastas audiencias.

Miami, Fl (March 30, 2022) — The Latin GRAMMY®-nominated Mexican-American singer and songwriter Lupita Infante takes a major step in her artistic development, as she signs with Sony Music Latin.
Lupita Infante combines family tradition – she is the daughter of the acclaimed singer and actor Pedro Infante, Jr., and granddaughter of the legendary Pedro Infante – with a rigorous background in mariachi music as a graduate of UCLA’s Ethnomusicology program.
In 2019, she released her debut album La Serenata, whose hit-single title track was written by Lupita Infante herself and features an empowering, feminist message. This success earned her a nomination at the 2020 Latin GRAMMYs® and 2021 GRAMMYs®.
After years of developing her unique sound, Lupita Infante is ready to expand her horizons with the support of Sony Music Latin: “I am very excited and flattered to be able to start this new chapter in my career with a major label such as Sony Music.
