MIAMI (31 de julio de 2020) – El grupo musical mexicano más escuchado en el mundo, REIK, estrena su nuevo sencillo “Pero Te Conocí”, una emocionante balada Pop que marca el comienzo de una conmovedora historia de amor. Con este lanzamiento, los artistas realizan su tan esperado regreso a sus raíces musicales y prometen causar un gran impacto sobre toda su audiencia. Esta nueva canción y su video musical ya se encuentran disponible en todas las plataformas musicales.
“Pero Te Conocí” es el primer capítulo de una serie de canciones y videos musicales que se estrenarán semanalmente durante el mes de agosto, resultando así en un próximo EP visual de baladas Pop, el cual será titulado, 20-21. Esta serie nació durante la cuarentena y para esto, Reik se unió con el reconocido director Fernando Lugo, para crear la conceptualización artística y visual del desarrollo de esta impactante historia.
El nuevo sencillo, se trata de una emocionante celebración sobre las serendipias de la vida. Es una declaración de amor, donde se narra la inesperada aparición de aquella persona que llega para cambiar y mejorar todo en la vida de alguien. La canción fue compuesta por Julio Ramírez, Alejandra Ruíz Ocampo, Andrés Torres, Mauricio Rengifo y Pablo Preciado. Asimismo, fue producida por Andrés Torres y Mauricio Rengifo, quienes han sido grandes colaboradores de Reik desde años anteriores.

Como consecuencia del aislamiento social, Jesús , Julio y Bibi, buscan destacar la importancia del amor en los tiempos difíciles y crear conciencia sobre la gravedad de lo que sucede en estos tiempos. Esta serie de lanzamientos entrelazados narrará el romance de una pareja, los efectos de su amor, y los desafíos que tienen que experimentar.
El estreno de esta nueva producción, demuestran el poder creativo que tiene Reik, como la agrupación musical más importante de México. Reik comenzó a introducir su regreso a las baladas Pop con su sencillo anterior, “La Bella Y La Bestia” junto a Morat, el cual ha sido un éxito mundial con más de 22 millones de visitas en su video musical. Este le hizo seguimiento a su lanzamiento más reciente del género Reggaetón, “Si Me Dices Que Sí” junto a Farruko Y Camilo, el cual fue #1 de los listados “Latin Airplay” y “Latin Pop Airplay” de Billboard por dos semanas consecutivas.

MIAMI (July 31, 2020) – The world’s most streamed Mexican music group, REIK, premieres new single “Pero Te Conocí,” an exciting pop ballad that marks the beginning of a poignant love story. With this release, the artist make their long-awaited return to their musical roots and promise to make a significant impact on their entire audience. This new song and its music video are now available on all music platforms.
“Pero Te Conocí” is the first chapter of a series of songs and music videos that will be released weekly during the month of August, thus resulting in an upcoming visual EP of pop ballads, which will be titled, 20-21. This EP was born during quarantine and in order to create the artistic visual conceptualization and development of this shocking love story, Reik joined forces with renowned director Fernando Lugo.
The new single is about an exciting celebration of life’s serendipity. The song is a declaration of love, narrating that moment when a person unexpectedly appears in someone’s life to change and make everything better. The song was composed by Julio Ramirez, Alejandra Ruíz Ocampo, Andrés Torres, Mauricio Rengifo, and Pablo Preciado. “Pero Te Conocí” was produced by Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo, who have been great collaborators with Reik since previous years.
“I am very excited that we can finally share the beginning of this beautiful story. Particularly in this song, I love the part that says: ‘And suddenly, as a star right in the middle of this sea, you healed my heart, you made me fall in love…’,” says Jesús Navarro.
Because of social distancing, Jesús , Julio, and Bibi seek to highlight how important love is during difficult times and raise awareness of the gravity of our current situation. This series of intertwined releases will narrate the romance story of a couple, the effects of their love, and the challenges they have to face.
The premiere of this new production demonstrates Reik’s creative power and makes it clear on why they are the most important musical group from Mexico. Reik began introducing its return to pop ballads with its previous single, “La Bella Y La Bestia” with Morat, which has been a worldwide success with over 22 million views on its music video. The group’s previous single, “Si Me Dices Que Sí” with Farruko and Camilo, reached the #1 on Billboard’s “Latin Airplay” and “Latin Pop Airplay” charts, dominating the top position for two consecutive weeks.
