SONY MUSIC LATIN:IL VOLO LANZA SU PRIMER ÁLBUM POP LATINO ÁMAME
MIAMI (30 de noviembre, 2018) – Reconocido por sus fusiones de ópera y pop, el joven trío vocal italiano Il Volohoy lanza su primera obra discográfica de pop latino con su quinto álbum de estudio Ámame.
Talentosos, versátiles y trabajadores, los integrantes de Il Volo siempre logran todo lo que se proponen, y desde hace un tiempo han tenido la inquietud de dedicar un álbum completo a sus seguidores latinos, quienes son sus más fieles en todo el mundo.
Ámame es producido por el múltiple ganador del GRAMMY® y del Latin GRAMMY® Emilio Estefan y fue grabado en Crescent Moon, sus estudios de grabación, en Miami.
Su primer sencillo “Noche Sin Día” junto al dúo cubano Gente De Zona, fue lanzado en mayo y rápidamente se colocó en el gusto del público. Alcanzó el puesto #4 en la lista Tropical Songs de Billboard y su video oficial ha acumulado más de 7.8 millones de reproducciones en YouTube. Los miembros de Il Volo se sienten como peces en el agua en este tema que fusiona elementos urbanos, cubanos y españoles. Se divirtieron a lo grande grabando la canción y el video musical, donde amenizan una fiesta en compañía de sus amigos de Gente De Zona, el galardonado dúo cubano.
“Queremos sobresalir en este proyecto especial para el mercado latinoamericano, una propuesta que suena completamente diferente a lo que habíamos realizado anteriormente“, afirma Il Volo, cuyos integrantes son los tenores Piero Barone e Ignazio Boschetto, y el barítono Gianluca Ginoble.
Emilio Estefan se expresa muy impresionado con el amor que tiene este grupo por la cultura hispana. “Cuando cierras los ojos y los escuchas, piensas que estás escuchando a un hablante nativo de español. Desde su infancia, les ha gustado esta música. Las sesiones de grabación fueron muy divertidas, bailaban y saltaban con frecuencia“.

RELEASES THEIR FIRST LATIN POP ALBUM

MIAMI (November 30, 2018) – Renowned for its fusions of opera and pop, the young Italian vocal trio Il Voloreleases its first Latin pop record today with its fifth studio album Ámame (Love Me).
Talented, versatile and hardworking, the members of Il Volo always accomplish what they set out to achieve, and had long been hoping to fully dedicate a project to their most faithful fans in the world – their Latino followers.
Ámame is produced by the multiple GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY®-winner Emilio Estefan and it was recorded at his Crescent Moon Studios in Miami.
First single “Noche Sin Día” featuring the Cuban duo Gente De Zona was released in May and quickly reached # 4 on Billboard’s Tropical Songs chart, with the official video surpassing 7.8 million views on YouTube. The members of Il Volo effortlessly interpret this song that fuses urban with Cuban and Spanish elements. They had a great time recording the song and the music video, where they liven up a party together with their friends, the acclaimed Cuban duo Gente De Zona.
“We want this to be our calling card as we introduce a new sound to our Latin American fans – one that’s completely different from what we’ve done so far,” notes Il Volo, whose members are tenors Piero Barone andIgnazio Boschetto, along with baritone Gianluca Ginoble.
Emilio Estefan points out that he is impressed with the love that this group has for Hispanic culture. “When you close your eyes, you think you’re listening to a native Spanish speaker. They have always listened to Latin music, even as kids. The recording sessions were a lot of fun; there was plenty of dancing and jumping in the studio.”
With innovative, diverse and rhythmic arrangements, Ámame includes newly written songs like the danceable collaboration “Que Difícil Es La Vida” featuring the rising urban star El Micha, along with new versions of Latin pop hits of the past two decades like “No Se Me Hace Fácil,” originally recorded by Alejandro Fernández, “Escúchame” by Carlos Ponce, “Hasta Dónde” by Jon Secada and “Ay Ay Ay Amor,” a duet with its songwriter and original performer, the legendary Gloria Estefan.
Fusing styles from vallenato and ranchera to flamenco and reggaetón, Il Volo shows its mastery of all genres of Spanish-language music. With majestic vocal performances of songs both familiar and new, Ámame is the perfect album for creating a great atmosphere at any party or get-together.
