Vetusta Morla estrena FINISTERRE
El sencillo es el primer adelanto de su nuevo disco, Cable a Tierra que se publicará a finales del 2021

MIAMI (16 de junio de 2021) – Cable a Tierra (Pequeño Salto Mortal, editado y distribuido bajo licencia exclusiva por Sony Music Spain) es el nombre elegido por Vetusta Morla para un nuevo álbum de estudio, que llegará a final de año.
“Finisterre“, es el primer single de adelanto y ya se encuentra disponible en todas las plataformas digitales.
La portada de “Finisterre” es obra de la artista Laura Millán.
El concierto de presentación de Cable a Tierra en Madrid será el 24 de junio de 2022 en el estadio Wanda Metropolitano, con aforo completo. Un nuevo hito para Vetusta Morla y la escena musical independiente española tras su histórico show en La Caja Mágica el 23 de junio de 2018, en el que congregaron a 38,000 asistentes. El del Wanda será el primer concierto de estadio de una banda de su género y en un espectáculo propio en su país.

La banda estrena hoy en su web un nuevo espacio de registro gratuito con contenido exclusivo para sus seguidores. Un site transmedia en el que los suscriptores podrán acceder progresivamente a preventas de entradas o merchandising, contenidos exclusivos e inéditos, streamings… Una suerte de cuaderno de bitácora de Cable a Tierra y la trayectoria de Vetusta Morla alojado en www.vetustamorla.com/valientes.

Vetusta Morla Released New Single FINISTERRE
Lead Single Off Their Upcoming Studio Album Cable a Tierra, Set To Release By The End Of 2021
MIAMI (July 16, 2021) – Cable a Tierra (Pequeño Salto Mortal, released and distributed under exclusive license by Sony Music Spain) is the title of Vetusta Morla‘s upcoming studio album, set for release by the end of the year.
The album’s lead single “Finisterre” is now available on all digital platforms.
The song is about an unusual and far from pleasant love story backed by a blend of folk, rock and electronic music. Atavistic percussions shake hands with synthesizers driven by the sound designed by Dave Fridmann (MGMT, Tame Impala, Flaming Lips, among others).
On the official music video –an original story and directed by Jerónimo Álvarez– the use of the slow motion technique, along with 180º rotation and reverse, generates an effect of oddity and awkwardness in the viewer, which is resolved in a harmonious and balanced way.
Finisterre‘s cover art is by the artist Laura Millán.
Vetusta Morla will be playing Cable a Tierra live for the first time in Madrid on June 24th, 2022, at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. A new milestone for Vetusta Morla and the indie Spanish music scene following their history-making show at La Caja Mágica on June 23rd, 2018, which attracted 38,000 attendees. The show at the Wanda Metropolitano will be the first arena concert on their own by a band of their genre in Spain.
