MIAMI ( April 29, 2022)Yuridia’s fans will be celebrating a new era in the singer’s career. Like the voice of passionate songs about insolence and heartbreak, the artist confesses with a song that reconnects her with her roots: “Y TÚ, ¿QUÉ GANAS?”.

I have sung some Regional Mexican songs before, but it was always something I’ve looked at with much respect”, reveals the artist, “however the quarantine allowed me to reconnect again with the music I grew up with and was always playing at home. But I also wanted to do it my way, because the best way to pay homage is by being present”, comments Yuridia

In searching for a sound that would reconnect her to her roots while also providing her own personal twist, Yuridia found a great accomplice in Edén Muñoz. By combining mariachi with sierreño, the singer delivers a song that must be accompanied with a drink; a song that you’ll want to sing to your ex.

I received the lyrics for the song from a friend’s aunt. I was working on other things when I received the song from a family member,” says the artist. Written by Óscar Iván Calderón and María Elena González, the song serves as the first single of a project where we learn more about the beloved sonorense.

We started rehearsing and I said: This has to be the first song the fans hear. It’s very me, hahaha.”  Yuridia celebrates as she gets everything ready for a project in which we will see her return to her norteña roots.
