FARRUKO estrena “LOVE 66” junto a CJ
MIAMI (28 de mayo de 2021) – El cantautor más versátil del género, Farruko, estrena hoy su nuevo sencillo “Love 66”. La superestrella puertorriqueña unió fuerzas con el rapero CJ para darle vida a esta canción cruda y real que une el rap y la cultura urbana latina. La canción y el video ya se encuentran disponibles en todas las plataformas digitales.
“Love 66” rinde homenaje al hecho de mantenerse fiel a uno mismo sin importar lo lejos que hayan llegado en el ajetreo. Farruko teje una historia de cómo debes disfrutar la vida y todo lo que uno ha logrado, pero a la misma vez nunca olvidar tus raíces ni dejar que nadie te falte el respeto. El fuego, la cadencia y el flow de CJ demuestran ser la contraparte ideal de la fuerza de los versos y la tonalidad de Farruko, y juntos pintan una imagen orgánica y cruda. Las letras de Farruko cobran vida aún más gracias a los ritmos inspirados en el Trap y Drill que encapsulan la cruda realidad de la vida cotidiana.
“CJ está en la cima de su carrera en este momento y soy fanático de lo que está haciendo por el género, así que fue una conexión orgánica con esta colaboración. Reunimos diferentes aspectos de nuestras culturas y nuestros estilos complementan el flow del otro y eso queda claro cuando escuchas el tema”, comentó Farruko.

El video, que fue producido por KPRA films y dirigido por José Paolo “Jolo” Sánchez, fue filmado en la ciudad de Miami. Las icónicas vistas del supermercado Guerrero, el Parque José Martí y los proyectos en La Pequeña Habana toman el centro del escenario y establecen el telón de fondo perfecto para combinar con la realidad presentada por Farruko y CJ. Ambos artistas aparecen en primeros planos entregando sus versos, rodeados por sus equipos.
A principios de este año, Farruko consolidó su posición como uno de los cantautores más inventivos e ingeniosos de la industria con su doble lanzamiento titulado Premium, que incluye sus dos canciones: “Oh Mama”, con Myke Towers y “XOXA”, con El Alfa. FARRUKO Releases “LOVE 66” With CJ
MIAMI (May 28, 2021) – The genre’s most versatile singer-songwriter, Farruko, released his latest hit track “Love 66.” The Puerto Rican superstar teamed up with breakout Staten Island rapper CJ to bring to life his raw and gritty song bridging Rap and Latin Urban culture. The song and official video are available to stream on all digital platforms today.
“Love 66” pays homage to staying true to oneself regardless of how far they have come in the hustle. Farruko weaves a story of how you should enjoy life and everything one has achieved but never forget your roots or let anyone disrespect you. CJ’s fire, cadence, and flow prove to be the ideal counterpart for the force of Farruko’s verses and tonality and together the two paint an organic and raw picture. Farruko’s lyrics are further brought to life by the expertly laid trap and drill inspired beats that encapsulate the crude reality of everyday life.
“CJ is at the top of his game right now and I am a fan of what he is doing for the genre, so it was an organic connection with this collaboration. We brought different aspects of our cultures together and our styles compliment each other’s flow and that is clear when you listen to the track,” comments Farruko.
“Working with Farruko was super dope, very easy working with him. The vibe and energy in the studio was great,” shared CJ. “What appeals to me the most about working with another Latin artist is our cultural connection, we come from the same background and can relate on many different levels, which makes it easier when creating a record.”
The video, which was produced by KPRA films and directed by José Paolo “Jolo” Sánchez, was filmed in Miami. The iconic visages of the Guerrero supermarket, Jose Marti Park, and Little Havana Projects takes center stage and sets the perfect backdrop to match the realness brought forth by Farruko and CJ. Both artists are featured in close up shots delivering their verses, surrounded by their crews.
