GERARDO ORTÍZ lanza hoy su anticipado sencillo con VIRLAN GARCIA “POR SIEMPRE MANUEL”
MIAMI (19 de junio, 2020) – La estrella emblemática de la música regional mexicana, Gerardo Ortiz, estrena el dia de hoy “Por Siempre Manuel” un tema en colaboración con el cantautor Virlan Garcia. El muy anticipado dueto escrito por Virlan ya está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales y el video lo pueden encontrar en el canal oficial de Gerardo en Youtube.
La canción al sonido de guitarras relata la historia de un personaje bravío, sinaloense amante de la vida de rancho, “El fresco olor a mota el cantar de los gallos el pastorear las vacas al lomo de un buen caballo la vista a las estrellas con un catre en el campo o en lo alto de la sierra con un bote bien helado solo recuerdas quedan cuando andaba por mi rancho”.
El rodaje del video tomó lugar en las afueras de Culiacán, Sinaloa bajo la dirección de Victor Zambrano. El material visual nos muestra a Ortiz y García en un ambiente campirano llevando la vida diaria de un campesino hacendoso.
Cabe destacar que en febrero Gerardo Ortiz lanzó su exitoso tema “Otra Borrachera” que alcanzó el #1 en el chart popular de Monitor Latino México y actualmente cuenta con más de 9 millones de vistas en Youtube y continúa escalando las listas de Billboard posicionándose en el #4 del chart “Regional Mexican Airplay”.
Entre solistas masculinos, Gerardo tiene el récord de más Números Uno en los 24 años de historia de la lista “Regional Mexican Airplay” de Billboard, con un total de nueve y recientemente fue reconocido #10 en “Top Latin Artists” de la década de los 2010’s de la prestigiosa revista Billboard.

MIAMI (June 19, 2020) – The iconic star in Regional Mexican music, Gerardo Ortiz, premieres today “Por Siempre Manuel” a song in collaboration with singer-songwriter Virlan Garcia. The highly anticipated duet written by Virlan is now available on all digital platforms and the video can be viewed on Gerardo‘s official YouTube channel.
The song to the sound of guitars tells the story of a brave character, a Sinaloan who loves the ranch lifestyle, “The fresh smell of weed the crowing of roosters the shepherd of cows while riding a good horse the view of the stars with a cot in the field or at the top of the mountains with a cold beer only memories remain from when I’d walk around my ranch.”
The filming of the video took place in the outskirts of Culiacán, Sinaloa under the direction of Victor Zambrano. In the visual material you can observe Ortiz and Garcia as hardworking farmers who live in a country environment.
It should be noted that in February Gerardo Ortiz launched his hit single “Otra Borrachera” which reached #1 on the “Popular” Monitor Latino chart in Mexico and currently has more than 9 million views on YouTube and continues to climb the Billboard charts, positioning itself #4 on the “Regional Mexican Airplay” chart.
Among male soloists, Gerardo holds the record for most Number Ones in the 24-year history of Billboard’s “Regional Mexican Airplay” chart, with a total of nine and was recently recognized #10 in “Top Latin Artists” of the decade of the 2010’s prestigious Billboard magazine.
