MIAMI (11 de agosto de 2022) – El histórico concierto de Gustavo Cerati en el Auditorio Nacional de la Ciudad de México que tuvo lugar el 9 de febrero del 2002 está disponible desde hoy y por primera vez en todas las plataformas digitales.
El nuevo álbum 14 EPISODIOS SINFÓNICOS / EN VIVO / AUDITORIO NACIONAL / CIUDAD DE MÉXICO / FEBRERO 2002, es la grabación con que el icónico artista argentino inició la gira presentación del disco 11 Episodios Sinfónicos (publicado en 2001), que lo llevó por escenarios de seis salas (ocho shows) de algunas de las principales ciudades de Latinoamérica.
Como su título indica, este disco suma tres nuevos episodios no incluidos en el repertorio del proyecto original (“LISA”, “FUE” y “HOMBRE AL AGUA”), clásicos de Soda Stereo y de la carrera solista de Gustavo, mostrando todo su talento vocal al estilo de un crooner aterciopelado, acompañado por la orquesta Camerata de las Américas, con arreglos y dirección de Alejandro Terán.
El espíritu de este tour fue la arriesgada propuesta artística que implicaba el formato orquestal, que entonces no era muy común para el repertorio de un músico popular proveniente del rock, mucho menos como se lo escucha aquí: sólo con su voz, sin la base de una banda.
Acompañando el lanzamiento del álbum, también se estrena hoy 11 de agosto, fecha en que se conmemora el nacimiento del legendario artista argentino, el Extended Reality Video del track “Raíz (Sinfónico en Vivo)”. La versión de estudio de esta canción había sido incluida en el álbum Bocanada, (publicado en 1999). Los elementos en que se basó su realización actual rescatan y reinterpretan la idea original que en su momento tuvieron Cerati y el director Andy Fogwill para el clip de la canción que, por distintos motivos, finalmente nunca se pudo filmar.
Este novedoso contenido audiovisual de “RAÍZ” es el sucesor de los de “LISA” y “CORAZÓN DELATOR”, que se estrenaron como adelantos en junio y julio, respectivamente. Dependiendo del dispositivo en que se vean, proporcionan al usuario una experiencia inmersiva distinta: desde un móvil, es AR (realidad aumentada); desde un ordenador, un video 360º; y con las gafas Oculus, es VR (realidad virtual).

Available Here For The First Time Ever
MIAMI (August 11, 2022) – The historical Gustavo Cerati’s concert that took place on February 9th, 2002, at the Auditorio Nacional of Mexico City, is now available for the first time ever on digital platforms.
The new album 14 EPISODIOS SINFÓNICOS / EN VIVO / AUDITORIO NACIONAL / CIUDAD DE MÉXICO / FEBRERO 2002 features the audio recording of the Argentinean artist’s performance with which he kicked off the 11 Episodios Sinfónicos (2001) album’s unique live tour, which covered eight shows that took place in six different auditoriums in some of Latin America’s main cities.
As its title makes explicit, the novelty adds three new tracks/episodes that were not featured on the original’s repertoire (“LISA”, “FUE” y “HOMBRE AL AGUA”), classic Soda Stereo’s songs and compositions from his solo career, showcasing all of Gustavo’s vocal talent in a velvet crooner style, accompanied by the Camerata de las Américas orchestra, with arrangements and direction by Alejandro Terán.
The spirit of this tour was marked by the audacious artistic proposal implied by the orchestral format, which was not very usual at that time for a popular rock musician’s repertoire. Much less as it can be heard here: his voice only, without a band or electric instruments’ base.
Besides the complete live album, an Extended Reality Video of the track “Raíz (Sinfónico en Vivo)” is also released today, August 11th, date that marks a new anniversary of the birth of the legendary Argentine artist. The studio version of this song was featured on Bocanada (1999 album); the making of its XR video rescues and reinterprets the original idea that Cerati and director Andy Fogwill had for the never filmed original song clip.
This new audiovisual content for “RAÍZ” follow up the previous ones for “LISA” and “CORAZÓN DELATOR”, which premiered in June and July respectively. It provides the user a different immersive experience, depending on the device in which it is viewed: it is AR (augmented reality) watched from a mobile; a 360º video from a PC; and a VR (virtual reality) if experienced through Oculus glasses.
