KEVIN JOHANSEN lanza su nuevo álbum ALGO RITMOS junto con el videoclip de “CUENTAS CLARAS”

MIAMI (2 de mayo, 2019) – Luego de haber dado a conocer la canción “Solo Le Dije”
como primer single y video,Kevin Johansen lanzó el pasado 26 de
abril su noveno álbum de estudio titulado Algo Ritmos,
junto al videoclip de su nuevo corte “Cuentas Claras.“
Algo Ritmos -que se encuentra disponible en formato físico y digital-, nos
invita a transitar por diferentes rutas sonoras, y es otra prueba de la
versatilidad que caracteriza a la música de Kevin Johansen, que le
permite pasar de una canción bossa nova como “Mi Querido Brasil“,
acompañado por Jorge Drexler, María Gadú, y Kassin, a la futurista
Teletransportación, donde imagina la posibilidad de trasladarse en un instante,
de Japón a Bogotá, para visitar a sus amores.
Según explica el artista, Algo
Ritmos tiene algo del signo de los tiempos: “Es un disco que
habla mucho sobre lo que quiero decir en este momento, tanto sobre el amor,
como sobre la coyuntura y la política. Este mundo loco y turbulento en el que
vivimos”.
El álbum también incluye delicadas
canciones como “New York Without You” y “Tú Ve“,
donde el músico afirma que nada es para siempre, salvo este amor. “Sin
Decir Palabra“, conjuga un delicado juego de voces, en el cual la
cantante española Leonor Watling completa las frases que Kevin deja
flotando, y las remata con un recitado desopilante.
En el track que cierra el álbum,
“La Gente Más Linda“, la lírica de Kevin Johansen se
desata. A partir de una combinación de trap, rap, y frases improvisadas, nos
invita a relajarnos y dejar de lado la razón, el sentido, y las posturas, para
así permitirnos ver a la gente más linda: la que no sabe lo linda que
es.
El video del segundo single de este
trabajo discográfico, la ranchera “Cuentas Claras”, está
co-protagonizado por su mujer Lala Franco y cuenta con la participación de sus
hijos Tom y Roy.
Algo Ritmos reafirma la convicción de Kevin de seguir su
camino musical siendo un des-generado, como suele definirse; un cantautor que
derriba las fronteras entre los géneros y disfruta de la mixtura de estilos,
jugando a recrear las infinitas variables que contiene la música, siempre con
los juegos de palabras y el (buen) humor como aliados poéticos.
El álbum fue producido por Matías
Cella y además de los citados músicos cuenta con La Shica y Daniel Drexler,
como otros artistas invitados. Será presentado con una larga gira mundial
titulada MITOURBANO.

Kristal, el dueño del histórico CBGB de New York.

Américas, Vol. ½” (2016) obtuvo 3 nominaciones a los Latin Grammys.

• Su show “Fin de Fiesta” cumplió 10 años en 2018 y lo celebró con una

Drexler, Miss Bolivia y Lisandro Aristimuño.

MIAMI (March 30, 2019) – After releasing “Solo Le Dije” as the lead single and
video, Kevin Johansen on April 26 unveiled his ninth studio
album titled Algo Ritmos,
along with the music video of second single “Cuentas Claras”.
Available in physical and digital
format, Algo Ritmos invites us to take a journey along
different sonic routes. Once again, we get to enjoy the depth and breadth
of Kevin Johansen’s musical vocabulary, which allows him to deftly
deliver the bossa nova “Mi Querido Brasil,” featuring Jorge Drexler,
María Gadú and Kassin, as well as the futuristic “Teletransportación,” a
song about dropping in on his lovers from one continent to another in the blink
of an eye.
As the acclaimed American-Argentine
artist notes, Algo Ritmos is really a sign of the
times: “It says what I want to say about such subjects as love, the
zeitgeist, politics and this crazy and turbulent world we find ourselves in.”
The album also includes nuanced songs
like “New York Without You” and “Tú Ve,” where Johansen notes
that nothing is forever, expect this love. “Sin Decir Palabra” features
an engaging vocal interplay with the Spanish vocalist Leonor Watling in which
she finishes his sentences in witty and unexpected ways.
On the last cut of the record, titled
“La Gente Más Linda,” Johansen shows off his
improvisational lyrical flow. Over trap and hip-hop rhythms, he encourages us
to set aside our conditioning in order to see the most beautiful people – those
who don’t know how lovely they really are.
The video of his second single, the
ranchera-themed “Cuentas Claras,” co-stars his partner Lala Franco and
his sons Tom and Roy.
Algo Ritmos continues Johansen’s commitment to his musical
“de-genre-acy,” as he puts it. With a sense of humor and lyrical playfulness,
he finds creative ways to mix styles and delight his fans.
Produced by Matías Cella, this album
also includes guest appearances from musicians La Shica and Daniel
Drexler. Johansen will support this album with an extensive
world tour dubbed MITOURBANO.
