La ganadora del Latin GRAMMY® NELLA firma con SONY MUSIC LATIN
Su primer sencillo se estrenará próximamente
MIAMI (16 de marzo de 2020) – La artista ganadora del Latin GRAMMY®, la cantante y estrella en ascenso Nella ha firmado contrato con Sony Music Latin.
Preparándose para hacer un gran impacto en 2020, lanzará su sencillo y video musical muy pronto.
Sobre su talento, Alex Gallardo, presidente de Sony Music Latin comentó: “Nella es una voz única. Nació en Margarita, Venezuela, pero bien podría haber sido en Sevilla o Cádiz. En ella la tradición y la modernidad se mezclan a la perfección. Encontró al aliado perfecto en el productor Javier Limón y con él nos ha traído una propuesta artística deliciosa e inconfundible. El Grammy Latino a mejor nuevo artista así lo atestigua”.

Nacida en Venezuela, Nella se catapultó al reconocimiento internacional impulsada por su poderosa voz e indiscutible presencia. En poco tiempo, pasó de graduarse del Berklee College of Music a ganar el Latin GRAMMY® 2019 como Mejor Nuevo Artista. Ese mismo año, su debut de larga duración, Voy, compuesto y producido por Javier Limón para Casa Limón Music, recibió reconocimiento de NPR y produjo el éxito “Me Llaman Nella”, que sobrepasó los 1.4 millones de descargas en Spotify y un millón de views del video musical.
Además, la canción que da título al disco se colocó en el puesto #14 de las 54 mejores canciones del 2019 según The New York Times.
Fusionando las raíces folclóricas de Venezuela, una producción moderna e inspiración andaluza; su sonido resuena en cada esquina del mundo. No solo ha abarrotado escenarios en los Estados Unidos, Venezuela, México, España y el Reino Unido; también ha acompañado a Alejandro Sanz, Jennifer López, Carlos Vives, Luis Enrique, Susana Baca, Los Amigos Invisibles, Monsieur Periné, Caramelos de Cianuro y Guaco como solista.
En particular, el ganador del Óscar®, Asghar Farhadi, la reclutó para unirse a su distinguido elenco para su film “Todos Lo Saben” al lado de Ricardo Darín y los también ganadores del Óscar®, Javier Bardem y Penélope Cruz. Iluminando sus talentos, Nella interpretó canciones escritas especialmente para el guión. Se estrenó en el Festival de Cannes ante una ovación unánime.

MIAMI (March 16, 2020) – Latin GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, singer, and rising star Nella has signed to Sony Music Latin.
Preparing to make a big impact in 2020, she will release her debut single and music video very soon.
About the signing, Sony Music Latin President Alex Gallardo commented, “Nella possesses a singular voice. She was born in Margarita, Venezuela, but she could have come from Seville, or Cádiz, Spain. Born in Venezuela, Nella skyrocketed to international renown fueled by her powerhouse voice and undeniable presence. In a short time, she went from Berklee College of Music graduate to winner of the 2019 Latin GRAMMY® Award for Best New Artist. That same year, her full-length debut, Voy, written and produced by Javier Limón for Casa Limón Music, received acclaim from NPR and yielded the hit “Me Llaman Nella,” which surpassed 1.4 million Spotify streams and 1 million views on the music video.

Merging the folklore roots of Venezuela, modern production, and Andalusian inspirations, her sound resounds in every corner of the globe. Not only has she packed venues throughout the United States, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain, and the UK, but she has also accompanied Alejandro Sanz, Jennifer López, Carlos Vives, Luis Enrique, Susana Baca, Los Amigos Invisibles, Monsieur Periné, Caramelos de Cianuro and Guaco as a soloist.
Notably, Academy® Award winner Asghar Farhadi recruited her to join the A-list cast of his film “Todos lo Saben” alongside Academy® Award winner Javier Bardem, Ricardo Darín, and Academy® Award winner Penélope Cruz. Illuminating her talents, she performed songs written exclusively for the screenplay. It opened at the Cannes Film Festival to unanimous applause.
