MIAMI (January 28, 2021) – Latin GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum singer, songwriter, and actress Leslie Grace joins forces with GRAMMY® Award-nominated rap superstar Meek Mill, and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Boi-1da on the first-ever reimagining of the classic “Conga” originally by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine. On the track, Leslie taps into the global spirit of this staple with a high-energy performance, dynamite delivery, and an unshakable hook. Boi-1da pays homage to the original with a seamless update, amplifying the groove and bold bounce. Meek serves up a fiery verse of his own highlighted by scorching signature bars.
Additionally, they partnered with the world’s most awarded rum brand BACARDÍ® rum to officially premiere the song and music video. Back in November, BACARDÍ® rumurged fans around the globe to provide dance and voice submissions for what would become the “Conga Feat. You” campaign—live now. The final revolutionary video intercuts and intersperses user-submitted dance moves synched up with the artist’s choreography. Reaching its climax, Leslie, Meek, and Boi-1da invite these fans into the clip’s Caribbean world for one final blockbuster moment of rhythm, dance, and music.
