MIAMI (22 de octubre de 2020) – Los artistas de Sony Music, The Orchard y sus sellos afiliados brillan en los Premios Billboard, ahora en su vigésima séptima edición.

Este evento de gala repleto de actuaciones, presentaciones y desfile de alfombra roja fue transmitido en vivo anoche por Telemundo desde el BB&T Center en Sunrise, Florida.

Entre los grandes triunfadores de la velada se encontraban Romeo Santos con cuatro premios, seguido por Wisin & Yandel con dos. Además, se les otorgaron premios especiales a algunos de los íconos más influyentes de la música. Carlos Vives obtuvo el Premio Billboard al Salón de la Fama; mientras Maluma se ganó el Premio Billboard Espíritu de la Esperanza. Enrique Iglesias fue nombrado como el Billboard Top Latin Artist of All Time; y Romeo Santos se hizo acreedor al Premio Billboard Top Latin Álbum de la Década por Formula: Vol. 2 (2014).

Los artistas iluminaron el escenario con una explosiva actuación tras otra, deleitando a los televidentes por todo el mundo. Regresando a los escenarios grandes, el astro colombiano Maluma dio una presentación inolvidable de “Hawái”, y su galardonado coterráneo Carlos Vives nos emocionó con un medley de “Cumbiana”“La Bicicleta”“La Gota Fría” y “Pa’ Mayté”; y Ozuna rompió tarima con “Despeinada”“Mamacita” junto a Black Eyed Peas y J. Rey Soul para luego regresar al escenario con un emotivo musical de “Gracias”.

Renombrada por sus históricas colaboraciones, la entrega de los Premios Billboard de nuevo unió a las estrellas más grandes del planeta. Wisin prendió fuego a su sencillo “Mi Niña” con Myke Towers, y se presentó con Yandel y El Alfa El Jefe para interpretar “Moviéndolo”,su colaboración junto a Pitbull. Farruko estrenó “La Tóxica (Remix)” junto a Myke Towers, Sech, Jay Wheeler y Tempo y cantó junto a Luis Fonsi su tema “Perfecta”. Anuel y Kendo Kaponi se unieron a Daddy Yankee y Sisqo en “Don Don” y Gente de Zona & Gerardo Ortiz dieron el estreno televisivo de “Otra Botella”.El grupo Reik provocó revuelo con “Lo Intenté Todo” junto a Jessie Reyez, mientras su vocalista principal Jesús Navarro rindió homenaje al veterano cantautor mexicano Armando Manzanero. Por otro lado, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga interpretó su colaboración con Snoop Dogg “Que Maldición”Manuel Turizo cantó su nuevo sencillo “La Nota” con Rauw Alejandro Myke Towers y cerró la alfombra roja con su éxito “Quiéreme Mientras Se Pueda”.

Adicionalmente, Gente De ZonaPedro Capó y Natalia Jiménez presentaron premios y, por si fuera poco, Natalia también tuvo una participación como co-presentadora de la Alfombra Roja.

MIAMI (October 22, 2020) – Artists from Sony MusicThe Orchard, and its affiliated labels shine at the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Last night, the ceremony was broadcast live on Telemundo with in-person presentations, performances, and a red carpet from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

The evening’s top winners included Romeo Santos with four awards, followed by Wisin & Yandel with two awards. Additionally, some of music’s most influential icons took home special honors. Carlos Vives received the “Hall of Fame” award, while Maluma garnered the “Spirit of Hope” award. The Billboard Latin Music Awards recognized Enrique Iglesias as the “Top Latin Artist of All Time” and honored Romeo Santos with “Top Latin Album of the Decade” for Formula: Vol. 2.

The artists brought down the house with one explosive performance after another, entertaining viewers in every corner of the globe. Returning to the spotlight, Maluma delivered an unforgettable rendition of “Hawái,” and Carlos Vives brought a medley with “Cumbiana”“La Bicicleta”“La Gota Fría” and “Pa’ Mayté. Ozuna lit up with “Despeinada, “Mamacita,” alongside Black Eyed Peas & J. Rey Soul,and later returned to the stage for a rendition of “Gracias.

Known for historic collaborations, the Billboard Latin Music Awards brought together some of the world’s biggest stars yet again. Wisin ignited his single “Mi Niña” alongside Myke Towers, and he joined Yandel and El Alfa El Jefe for Pitbull’s hit “Moviéndolo.” Farruko debuted “La Tóxica (Remix)” next to Myke Towers, Sech, Jay Wheeler and Tempo; and teamed up with Luis Fonsi on “Perfecta.” Anuel and Kendo Kaponi united with Daddy Yankee and Sisqo for “Don Don”. Gente de Zona & Gerardo Ortiz gave audiences the first television performance of “Otra Botella.” Joined by Jessie Reyez, Reik soared on “Lo Intenté Todo, while lead vocalist Jesús Navarro paid homage to Armando Manzanero during a very special tribute. Also, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga interpreted their collaboration with Snoop Dogg “Que Maldición” and Manuel Turizo performed his new single “La Nota” with Rauw Alejandro and Myke Towers, plus concluded the Red Carpet preshow with “Quiéreme Mientras Se Pueda.

In addition, Gente De ZonaPedro Capó and Natalia Jiménez presented awards, and additionally Natalia co-hosted theRed Carpet preshow.
