LUIS FIGUEROA continúa su rápido ascenso como la voz líder de la nueva generación de salsa

MIAMI (agosto 11, 2022) – El cantautor puertorriqueño Luis Figueroa continúa su rápido crecimiento como la voz líder de la nueva generación de salsa. La estrella en ascenso ha llevado su música al próximo nivel con su último álbum de salsa, Luis Figueroa. “Todavía Te Espero” ha permanecido en la lista “Tropical Airplay” de Billboard durante 19 semanas y actualmente se encuentra en el puesto número 3. La canción también esta número 15 en la lista “Latin Airplay” de Billboard, lo que la convierte en la canción de salsa más alta en dicha lista.
Estos éxitos llegan después de que Figueroa abriera el concierto de Marc Anthony el 9 de agosto en el Estadio Rommel Fernández en Panamá. Sumándole a la importancia de la presentación es el hecho de que “Vienes” alcanzó el número 1 en la lista “Tropical” de Monito Latino de Panamá, manteniendo dicha posición durante cuatro semanas. Por si fuera poco, Billboard nombró a Luis Figueroa uno de “Los 22 Mejores Álbumes Latinos de 2022 Hasta el Momento” y lo destacó como uno de los nuevos contendientes para los Latin GRAMMYs® 2022.
Con nueva música, actuaciones especiales y elogios de la crítica, Luis Figueroa también obtuvo una nominación por “Tropical Hit (Mejor Canción Tropical)” en los Premios Juventud 2022. Aparte de su nominación fue parte del homenaje a El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico y entregó una actuación estelar de su más reciente sencillo “Vienes“.

Acerca de Luis Figueroa
Luis Figueroa es uno de los artistas más prometedores de esta década. Egresado del prestigioso Colegio de Música Berklee en Boston, Luis llegó a ser corista de Romeo Santos y provocó revuelo en los Premios Juventud 2016 cantando “Flor Pálida” a dúo con Marc Anthony. Fungió como invitado especial en el éxito masivo “Por Perro” (2018) con Sebastián Yatra y Lary Over, superando los 600 millones de vistas en YouTube. MIAMI (August 11, 2022) – Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Luis Figueroa continues his rapid rise as the leading voice of salsa’s new generation. The rising star has taken his music to the next level with his latest salsa album, Luis Figueroa. “Todavía Te Espero” has remained in Billboard’s “Tropical Airplay” chart for 19 weeks and is currently at No. 3. The song is also No. 15 on Billboard’s “Latin Airplay” chart, making it the highest charting salsa song on said chart.
These successes come after Figueroa opened Marc Anthony’s concert on August 9 at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama. Adding to the importance of the performance is the fact that “Vienes” reached No. 1 on Panama’s Monito Latino “Tropical” chart, holding said position for four weeks. As if that weren’t enough, Billboard named Luis Figueroa one of “The 22 Best Latin Albums of 2022 So Far” and highlighted him as one of the new contenders for the 2022 Latin GRAMMY Awards®.
With new music, special performances and critical acclaim, Luis Figueroa also earned a nomination for “Tropical Hit (Best Tropical Song)” at the 2022 Premios Juventud. About Luis Figueroa
Luis Figueroa is one of the most promising artists of this decade. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, he toured as a backing vocalist for Romeo Santos and generated incredible buzz after duetting on “Flor Pálida” with Marc Anthony at the 2016 Premios Juventud. He performed on the international smash “Por Perro” (2018) with lead artist Sebastián Yatra and Lary Over, surpassing 600 million views on YouTube.
