LUPITA INFANTE Lanza “Hazme Tuya” Su sencillo debut en Sony Music Latin
MIAMI (1 de Abril de 2022) – La cantante y compositora mexicoamericana nominada al Latin GRAMMY® y GRAMMY®, Lupita Infante, lanza hoy “Hazme Tuya”, su primer sencillo y video de la mano de Sony Music Latin. Está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales.
“Hazme Tuya” fue escrita por Lupita Infante junto con Alfredo Ríos “El Komander”, esta fusión de música de mariachi, norteña y sierreña, utiliza hábilmente letras con múltiples significados para retratar a una mujer que se hace cargo de los contornos de una relación.
Por encima de un alegre ritmo de ranchera, Lupita le dice a un pretendiente, “dame tu cariño y hazme tuya de una vez”. Es una frase que se puede interpretar de diferentes maneras, pero esta es una invitación para comprometerse con una relación en lugar de tener algo informal.
“Hazme Tuya” fue grabado en db Studios en San Antonio, Texas, y es producido por los experto y virtuoso de la música regional Carlos H. Alvarez y grabada y mezclada por el ganador al GRAMMY®, Danny Zapata. El sencillo es acompañado por un nuevo video que fue grabado en Guadaljara, Jalisco con el director, Christian Schmid.
Escribir su propia música es una faceta importante de su floreciente carrera, ella señala: “Me gusta implementar técnicas pop en mi composición. Escribir canciones es otra vía para expresar quién eres. El público me conocerá mejor por la música que escribo y cómo puedo conectarme con ellos a través de ella”.
Lupita Infante combina la tradición familiar – es hija del aclamado cantante y actor Pedro Infante Jr. y nieta del legendario Pedro Infante – con una rigurosa formación en la música de mariachi como egresada del programa de Etnomusicología de la UCLA.
Después de años de desarrollar su sonido único, Lupita Infante está lista para expandir sus horizontes con el apoyo de Sony Music Latin: “Tengo muchas ganas de mostrarle a Sony lo que puedo hacer. Cuando escucho el nombre de Sony pienso en grandes artistas, artistas a los que admiro. Me da la sensación de que estamos en las grandes ligas y vamos a ser muy exitosos”, dijo.

MIAMI (April 1, 2022) – The Latin GRAMMY® and GRAMMY® nominated Mexican-American singer and songwriter Lupita Infante today releases “Hazme Tuya,” her first single and video on Sony Music Latin. It is available from all digital-music platforms.
“Hazme Tuya” was written by Lupita Infante with Alfredo Ríos “El Komander”, this fusion of mariachi, norteño and Sierreño music cleverly uses lyrics with multiple meanings to portray a woman who takes charge of the contours of a relationship.
Over a sprightly ranchera beat, Lupita tells a suitor, “dame tu cariño y hazme tuya de una vez” (give me your affection and make me yours already). It’s a phrase that can be construed in different ways, but here it’s an exhortation to commit to a relationship rather than running hot and cold.
“Hazme Tuya” was recorded at db Studios in San Antonio, Texas, and produced by the experienced Regional Mexican-music virtuoso Carlos H. Alvarez and recorded & mixed by the GRAMMY® award engineer Danny Zapata. The single is accompanied by a new video that was filmed in Guadalajara, MX with the director, Christian Schmid.
Writing her own music is an important facet of her burgeoning career, she notes: “I like to implement pop techniques into my songwriting. Songwriting is another avenue to express who you are. Audiences will get to know me better from the music I write and how and I can connect to them through that.”
Lupita Infante combines family tradition – she is the daughter of the acclaimed singer and actor Pedro Infante, Jr., and granddaughter of the legendary Pedro Infante – with a rigorous background in mariachi music as a graduate of UCLA’s Ethnomusicology program.
After years of developing her unique sound, Lupita Infante is ready to expand her horizons with the support of Sony Music Latin: “I’m looking forward to showing Sony what I can do. When I hear the name Sony, I think of really big artists, artists I look up to. It gives me a sense that we’re in the big leagues and we’re going places,” she said.
