MUNAY debutó en los primeros lugares de ventas del “Latin Pop Album”chart de Billboard, es el tercer álbum del puertorriqueño en posicionarse dentro del Top 10 de las listas de ventas, ocupando las primeras posiciones en emisoras y radios a nivel Andes.
Su éxito global “Calma (Remix)”junto a Farruko ha sido certificado Doble Diamante en México, Diamante en Estados Unidos, y Perú; multi-platino en LATAM y Europa. MIAMI (October 29, 2020) – The multiple Latin GRAMMY®-winner Pedro Capó, who reached global stardom with his 2018 hit “Calma (Remix),” has earned more recognition in the Andean South America for his latest album MUNAY.
Thanks to the success of the singles “La Sábana y los Pies” (The Sheet and The Feet), with over five million views; “Buena Suerte” (Good Luck), with over 20 million; and the album’s standard-bearer and newest video “Day By Day”; Pedro has received prestigious awards. In Colombia, MUNAY has been certified Quadruple Platinum for surpassing 32 million streams there. In Peru, it has gone Double Platinum for surpassing 16 million streams.
In the United States, MUNAY represents the Puerto Rican artist’s third Top 10 entry on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart, as its singles continue to perform well on airplay rankings internationally.
The overwhelming success of “Calma (Remix),” which is also included on MUNAY, is evident in its long list of accomplishments: Double Diamond certification in Mexico; Diamond in the USA and Peru; multi-Platinum in Latin America and Europe. The song’s original version earned him the 2019 Latin GRAMMY® for Song of the Year, while the remix took home Best Urban Fusion/Performance.
