MYA lanza nuevo álbum SUENA MYA

MIAMI (24 de noviembre de 2021) – Por fin llega el esperado segundo álbum de MYA, Suena MYA, del cual se desprende como nuevo sencillo “BB”, que ya se perfila como un nuevo hit en el que Maxi y Agus se reencuentran con su talentosa amiga Emilia.
Este segundo trabajo reúne los últimos grandes éxitos del dúo, como “2:50 Remix” (junto a TINI y DUKI, hoy con más de 187 millones de reproducciones), “Una Y Mil Veces” (junto a Mau y Ricky, que supera los 29 millones), y “COMO + NADIE” junto a Rusherking y LIT killah (más de 22 millones), además de otras siete nuevas canciones, algunas solos y otras en colaboración con figuras como FMK, Migrantes y Santiago Sáez.
A lo largo del disco Suena MYA aparecen sus características baladas, temas pegadizos con más carga rítmica y también el mejor pop urbano. El sonido y la calidad de las composiciones confirma la madurez del dúo, que sigue de gira por todo su país y se prepara para su regreso a los grandes escenarios de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires el 9 de diciembre, en el Teatro Opera.
Según Maxi y Agus, “La música nos llama, nos conduce y nos acompaña a diario. Hay una canción para cada momento, una melodía que nos toca el alma, una y mil historias que se cantan a los gritos y que tienen por cortina una canción que recordar”.
Todos pasamos por momentos difíciles, a veces la duda, la incertidumbre y la presión parecen ganarnos, pero es ahí donde aparece nuestra misión: “llevarles una canción que desahogue, que ponga en pausa a la mente y le dé paso al sentimiento, que dispare un mensaje de alegría y que sirva de motivo y excusa para bailarle a la vida. Ese es nuestro sueño; ustedes son nuestro sueño”.
La producción del nuevo sencillo “BB” estuvo a cargo de Nico Valdi y el mix lo hizo el colombiano Mosty. El video fue dirigido por Miguel Vázquez y muestra la historia de una traición y el desamor en el momento menos esperado: un casamiento. “Nos divertía la idea de actuar y contar la historia en primera persona”, dijeron. Tiene cameos de colegas e influencers como Tull Acosta, Fabro, el propio Nico Valdi y también Facundo García (de Migrantes), que es co-autor del tema.
Maxi y Agus cuentan sobre el sencillo, “Siempre es difícil pensar en la canción #1 de un disco, pero en este caso nos fue fácil decidir que ‘BB’ tenía que ser el single líder. Nació en una de las primeras sesiones que hicimos en Miami, y desde ese momento sentimos que teníamos que hacerlo junto a una mujer. Y si bien hace no mucho tiempo ya habíamos compartido una canción con Emilia, era su voz la que nos imaginábamos. ¡Nos encanta compartir nuestra música con amigos y con ella tenemos una relación increíble!”.

MIAMI (November 24, 2021) – Suena MYA, the highly anticipated second album by the Argentine pop duo MYA, is available now. Its focus track “BB” featuring fellow Argentine talent and rising star Emilia.
The second album by this duo comprising Maxi and Agus features successful hits such as “2:50 Remix” with TINI and Duki, which has over 187 million streams; “Una y Mil Veces” with Mau y Ricky, which has over 29 million; and “COMO + NADIE” with Rusherking and LIT killah (over 22 million). The album also includes seven unreleased songs, including collaborations with artists like FMK, Migrantes and Santiago Sáez.
The musical styles of Suena MYA range from the duo’s signature ballads to rhythmic tracks and contemporary urban pop. The quality of songwriting confirms the group’s increasing maturity, as the duo continues touring Argentina before returning to their home base of Buenos Aires for a December 9 performance at Teatro Ópera.

The new single “BB” is produced by Nico Valdi, with mixing handled by the Colombian talent Mosty. Directed by Miguel Vázquez, the music video portrays a story of heartbreak and betrayal in the worst possible setting: a wedding. “We were entertained by the idea of acting out the lyrics in first person,” the group says. It includes cameos from the group’s colleagues, as well as influencers such as Tull Acosta, Fabro, director Nico Valdi and Facundo García (of Migrantes), who serves as the song’s co-writer.
Maxi and Agus explain why “BB” is their choice for the focus track for the debut of Suena MYA: “It can be difficult to select a focus track, but this time the choice was clear. It sprang from one of our first sessions in Miami, and ever since then we felt it needed to be a duet with a female singer. Since we had recently sung with Emilia, it was her voice that we imagined. We love sharing our music with friends, and we have an incredible relationship with her!”
