MYA presenta nuevo sencillo y video “2:50”

MIAMI (24 de septiembre de 2020) – Luego de su primera nominación a los Premios Gardel a la Música 2020 (Argentina) como “Mejor álbum grupo pop” por su disco debut HOY –ceremonia virtual en la que sorprendieron con su presentación junto a Emilia y Ruggero, y un gran show transmitido a todo el mundo vía streaming desde el Movistar Arena, MYA presenta hoy su nuevo single y video “2:50”.
Una canción en la que vuelven con toda la magia de su trabajo a dúo, luego de haber presentado tres grandes colaboraciones durante este año, en sus sencillos junto a Abraham Mateo (“25 Noches”), Mau y Ricky (“Una y mil veces”) y Emilia (“Histeriqueo”).
“2:50 es una de las canciones que nacieron en época de cuarentena y que, desde un comienzo, cuando empezamos a escribirla junto con nuestros hermanos y productores de Mapache, ya sentimos especial!”, cuentan Maxi y Agus.
El video estuvo a cargo del director Martin Seipel y cuenta con la participación de Malena Ratner y ‘’El Purre’’, una pareja de amigos con los que MYA hace tiempo querían filmar.

MIAMI (September 24, 2020) – The young Argentine pop duo MYA presents its single and video “2:50,” as the guys enjoy continued recognition.
Their debut album Hoy was nominated for Best Pop Album (Group) at Argentina’s recent Premios Gardel ceremony, which was livestreamed from Buenos Aires’ Movistar Arena to an online audience. MYA also performed at the event with Emilia and Ruggero.
“2:50” puts the focus squarely on the talents of the group’s members Maxi and Agus after the duo enjoyed success with three duets – “25 Noches” with the Spanish singer Abraham Mateo; “Una y Mil Veces” with another youthful duo, Mau y Ricky; and “Histeriqueo” with fellow Argentine talent Emilia.
“2:50 is one of our songs that we wrote during quarantine. Ever since we started composing it with the Mapache production team, who are like brothers to us, we felt something special,” the band noted.
The music video is directed by Martin Seipel and features two close friends of the band, actors Malena Ratner and José “El Purre” Giménez, a real-life couple who the band had been hoping to film for some time.
