NICKI NICOLE lanza su nuevo sencillo “PARTE DE MI”

Tiny Desk (Home) Concert de NPR llega en octubre
MIAMI (30 de septiembre de 2021) – Después de otra nominación al Latin GRAMMY® esta semana, y el anunció de un Tiny Desk (Home) Concert de NPR, la emergente estrella argentina de 21 años Nicki Nicole hoy lanza su balada “Parte De Mi”, producida por Julio Reyes, Evlay y Mauro de Tommaso. Este tema formará parte de su álbum que se lanzará este otoño. “Parte De Mi” viene acompañado de su video oficial dirigido por Rodrigo González y Tomás Seivane. En este clip, Nicki revela videos caseros de su infancia (al igual que la portada del sencillo) mientras recuerda sus raíces, regalándonos una canción sumamente personal.
“’Parte De Mi’ es una canción muy especial para mí, te diría que es la más especial que grabe hasta el día de hoy. Se la escribí a una persona que ya no está conmigo, y que me marcó muchísimo en mi vida. Esta canción es parte de mi para ustedes y para cada uno que la sienta suya” expreso Nicki.
Este sencillo llega a tan solo días de su nominación al Latin GRAMMY® por “Venganza”, su colaboración con el grupo uruguayo No Te Va Gustar, en la categoría de Mejor Canción de Rock. El año pasado, Nicki obtuvo su primera nominación, para Mejor Nuevo Artista.
Su reciente sencillo “Toa La Vida” también estará incluido en su próximo álbum. Este tema cuenta con producción y voz de Mora, artista puertorriqueño de reggaetón. “Toa La Vida” es una canción de amor que se trata de cuando uno siente que no necesita mucho más en la vida que a su ser amado.
Por su parte, Nicki comenta que, “Esta canción con Mora se surgió de la nada. Admiramos mutuamente el trabajo del otro, entonces cuando estaba en Miami nos escribimos para juntarnos. Cuando nos reunimos en el estudio, tuvimos una gran vibra al instante, y la canción fluía muy natural. Él trajo su estilo, yo traje el mío, y la canción salió fenomenal”.
En abril, Nicki presentó “No Toque Mi Naik” (feat. Lunay) en The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, convirtiéndose en la primera artista argentina en actuar en este reconocido programa nocturno. El éxito “Ella No Es Tuya Remix” de Rochy RD x Nicki Nicole x Myke Towers forma parte de la lista de reproducción Verano 2021 del presidente Obama, esta canción cuenta con más de 500 millones de streams en total. Nicki también ha sido reconocida como “la estrella que desafía la cultura machista del rap argentino” por las revistas VOGUE y The Guardian.

NPR ‘Tiny Desk (Home) Concert’ Arriving in October
MIAMI (September 30, 2021) – Off the heels of yet another Latin GRAMMY® nomination this week, and a NPR ‘Tiny Desk (Home) Concert’ announced, 21-year-old rising Argentine star Nicki Nicole has released the new ballad “Parte De Mi.” The song was produced by Julio Reyes, Evlay and Mauro de Tommaso. It previews her upcoming album which will be released this fall. “Parte De Mi” is accompanied by an official video directed by Rodrigo Gonzalez and Tomas Seivane. The video includes home footage from Nicki’s childhood (as does the single cover art) as she reflects on her roots in the deeply personal song.
“‘Parte De Mi’ is a song very special to me.” Nicki shares, “I would say the most personal track I’ve recorded to this day. I wrote it for someone who is no longer with us, but a person who touched me deeply. This song is ‘a part of me’ for you all, and for you to feel it in your own way too. It is also the reason I named my next album ‘Parte De Mi’.”
The new single comes days after Nicki’s Latin GRAMMY® nomination for “Venganza,” her collaboration with Uruguayan rockers No Te Va Gustar. She was nominated for “Best New Artist” at last year’s Latin GRAMMY awards show.
Nicki’s recent single “Toa La Vida” will also be featured on her upcoming album. The song was produced by Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Mora and he is featured on vocals. “Toa la Vida” is a love song about feeling that you don’t need much more than each other.
“This song with Mora came out of the blue,” Nicki explains. “We really liked each other’s work so when I was in Miami we wrote to get together. When we met in the studio we instantly had a great vibe and the song flowed very naturally. He brought his style and I brought mine, and the song turned out amazing.”
Earlier this spring, Nicki performed “No Toque Mi Naik (feat. Lunay)” on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She was the first Argentine artist to perform on the acclaimed TV show. Her viral remix for Rochy RD’s “Ella No Es Tuya” was featured on President Obama’s “2021 Summer Playlist” and now has more than 500 million total streams. The 21-year-old artist brings R&B and soul to Argentina’s exploding urban scene and is regularly celebrated for challenging gender stereotypes along the way. She was profiled in VOGUE as well as The Guardian, which described her as “the star defying Argentinian rap’s macho culture.”
