REIK Trends Every November Thanks To Its Classic Hit #NoviembreSinTi

#NoviembreSinTi, es noviembre con REIK

MIAMI (November 11, 2021) – Every November, the Mexican pop trio Reik becomes a trending topic, thanks to its iconic early-career hit from 2005, “Noviembre Sin Ti.” The group remembers this song with great affection.

We were very young when we recorded it,” Reik’s guitarist Julio Ramírez remembers with a chuckle. “And although we weren’t very aware of what we were doing, we definitely enjoyed it a lot. I love it that people still dedicate it and use it for really fun videos on TikTok.” The song has launched nearly 30,000 TikTok videos, as well as countless memes over the years.

An integral part of the 21st-century Latin-pop songbook, “Noviembre Sin Ti” is co-produced by Kiko Cibrián, who is actually portrayed by Reik’s electric guitarist Gilberto “Bibi” Marín in Season 2 of Luis Miguel: The Series. Just as the song won over listeners upon the release of the band’s self-titled debut album, it continues to delight music-lovers. Reik’s lead singer Jesús Navarro sang it several weeks ago as part of his stint as coach on the music-reality show La Voz Senior Colombia.

The song has surpassed 205 million views on YouTube and 113 million Spotify streams, while earning a Triple Platinum + Gold certification in Mexico. Reik, of course, has gone on to record many other songs that have generated buzz on social media.

On November 14, the band celebrates the 15th anniversary of its sophomore album Secuencia, which features chart-toppers such as “Sabes” (Double Platinum + Gold in Mexico) and “Me Duele Amarte.” The album went Platinum in Mexico, and Apple Music recently unveiled an animated cover for the album, giving fans a new perspective on this incredible work.

Reik remains at the forefront of contemporary music with recent singles like “Loquita” with Rauw Alejandro, and “Cuántas Veces” with Carlos Rivera. In the meantime, the band is preparing more original music to delight us in the years to come.
