MIAMI (4 de diciembre de 2020) – Billboard ha revelado la lista Top Latin Artists de la década del 2010 y Prince Royce ocupa la posición #2, un logro importante para el artista, que inició su carrera en el 2010 y desde entonces no ha parado de lanzar grandes éxitos. Este año, el cantautor multiplatino, ha seguido cosechando hits, dominando la radio latina. De acuerdo a los listados de Fin de Año (Year-end) 2020 de BillboardRoyce encabeza en el #1 dos listas: Tropical Airplay Artists y Tropical Airplay Songs (por “Carita de Inocente“). También, alcanzó el #2 en la lista Latin Airplay Songs, que incluye música de todos los géneros, con su sencillo “Carita de Inocente” y es el #9 en la lista Latin Airplay Artists.
 
Prince Royce hizo historia este año al establecer un nuevo récord de todos los tiempos, por permanecer varias semanas consecutivas como #1 en el listado de Billboard Tropical Airplay con “Carita de Inocente”, que se mantuvo en el #1 durante veintinueve semanas. La canción que además fue #1 en el listado Billboard Latin Airplay, ha sido certificada como Platino en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico.
 
Después de permanecer en el #1 durante veintinueve semanas con “Carita de Inocente“, Prince Royce reemplazó su propia canción (en la semana del 24 de octubre) con su más reciente sencillo “Lotería” alcanzando el #1 en la lista de Billboard Tropical Airplay, convirtiéndose así, en su decimonoveno #1 en la radio Tropical en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico. Permaneció en las posiciones #1 y #2 del listado de Tropical Airplay durante cuatro semanas consecutivas. “Lotería” sigue siendo #1 cinco semanas después; con “Carita de Inocente” actualmente en la posición#3.
 
Lotería” y “Carita de Inocente” se desprenden de ALTER EGOel álbum más reciente de Royce, que fue nominado al Latin GRAMMY® 2020 por Mejor Álbum Contemporáneo/Fusión Tropical y está certificado como Triple Platino por sus ventas en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico. También, es Triple Platino en Argentina, Oro en México y España; y Platino en Perú.

 
ALTER EGO ha tenido cinco éxitos radiales #1: dos en el listado de Billboard Latin Airplay (con “El Clavo” y “Carita de Inocente“) y tres en el listado Billboard Tropical Airplay (con “Morir Solo“, “Adicto” y “Lotería“).

MIAMI (December 4, 2020) – Billboard has revealed the list of the Top Latin Artists of the 2010s and Prince Royce is #2, an amazing feat for the young artist who launched his career in 2010 and hasn’t stopped releasing smash hits ever since. This year, the multiplatinum singer-songwriter has continued his hitstreak dominating Latin radio. According to Billboard‘s 2020 Year-End Charts released today, Royce has achieved #1s on both the Tropical Airplay Artists and the Tropical Airplay Songs (for “Carita de Inocente”) Year-End charts. He also notched at #2 on the Latin Airplay Songs Chart which includes music of all genres with his hit single “Carita de Inocente” and he is #9 on the Latin Airplay Artists chart.

Prince Royce made history this year by setting a new all-time record for the most consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard‘s Tropical Airplay chart with “Carita de Inocente” which remained at #1 for twenty-nine weeks. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay Chart and has been certified Platinum in the United States & Puerto Rico.

After remaining at #1 for twenty-nine weeks with “Carita de Inocente“, the artist replaced his own song (week of October 24th), with his most recent bachata single “Lotería” reaching #1 on the Billboard Tropical Airplay Chart, marking his 19th #1 on Tropical radio in the United States and Puerto Rico. He remained at the #1 and #2 spots on the Tropical Airplay chart for fourconsecutive weeks. “Lotería” is still at #1 five weeks later with “Carita de Inocente” currently at #3.

Lotería“and “Carita de Inocente“are part of Royce‘s latest album ALTER EGO which was nominated to a 2020 Latin GRAMMY® for Best Contemporary/Tropical Fusion Album and is certified Triple Platinum for its sales in the United States and Puerto Rico.
