REIK estrena innovadora colaboración junto a FARRUKO Y CAMILO “SI ME DICES QUE SÍ”
MIAMI (18 de febrero, 2020) – REIK, el grupo que continúa marcando tendencia a nivel global con más de 3 mil millones de streams, sorprende a sus fanáticos con el lanzamiento de su nuevo sencillo “Si Me Dices Que Sí“, uniendo sus talentos junto al galardonado artista Farruko y al reconocido cantautor colombiano, Camilo. Esta inigualable y particular colaboración ya se encuentra disponible en todas las plataformas digitales de música.
“Si Me Dices Que Sí“, compuesto por Julio y Bibi (integrantes de REIK) junto a Camilo y Farruko, se trata de una declaración romántica hacia un amor perdido, con sentimientos nostálgicos que proponen regresar en el tiempo añorando el cariño del pasado. La canción es de carácter sentimental, muy al estilo de baladas pop. Sin embargo, cuenta con los ritmos pegajosos del género urbano – lo que indudablemente demuestra el sentido innovador y la versatilidad musical que ha dominado REIK a través de su carrera. Asimismo, se muestra el poder creativo que trae la unión de sus talentos junto a Farruko y Camilo.
“El colaborar y compartir con artistas diferentes nos ha traído más satisfacción de la que nos pudimos haber imaginado. En el caso específico de Farruko y de Camilo, es de esas mezclas inesperadas y una combinación de tres voces y tres personalidades súper diferentes, pero con esa misma disposición de compartir y de hacer algo diferente, algo que nos emocione“, expresó Jesús.
“Es una canción que tiene un estilo muy diferente a lo que hemos hecho. En el momento en el que Julio, Camilo y yo tocamos las guitarras se hizo una sesión interesante al escribir el tema. Me encanta el resultado, como agarró un swing y cómo justamente representa ese sonido que va cambiando de REIK“, expresó Bibi.
El video musical del sencillo fue dirigido por el reconocido director argentino Joaquin Cambre, y cuenta con la participación de los artistas, cantando en un ambiente gris entre las ruinas, mientras a su vez, se muestra una historia de amor surreal desenvolviéndose entre los edificios y las calles de la ciudad.
“El video como tal es una obra de arte que representa ese momento en el que estás queriendo habitar de nuevo en esa ruina, que es esa relación que ya no existe y es el final de todo“, comentó Camilo.
“Representa la lucha que tiene uno a diario como persona, de estar en un ambiente en el que todavía tienes esa esperanza de reconstruirse“, expresó Farruko.
Actualmente, Jesus, Julio y Bibi, celebran el lanzamiento de este nuevo sencillo, lo cual le da continuidad a su último álbum de estudio, Ahora, el cual recibió las certificaciones de Platino y Oro en México, y ha sido certificado 3 veces Platino en Estados Unidos por la RIAA. Sumando a sus éxitos, REIK también celebra estar entre los artistas más nominados a Premio Lo Nuestro, participando en 10 categorías. Además, han sido anunciados como finalistas en los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina, en la categoría de “Artista Latin Pop del Año – Dúo o Grupo”. REIK Releases Innovative Collaboration With FARRUKO And CAMILO “SI ME DICES QUE SÍ”
MIAMI (February 18, 2020) – REIK, the group that continues trending all over the world with more than three billion streams, surprises their fans with the release of their new single “Si Me Dices Que Sí,” joining their talents with the award-winning artist Farruko and the renowned Colombian singer-songwriter, Camilo. This unique and particular collaboration is now available on all digital music platforms.
“Si Me Dices Que Sí,” composed by Julio, Bibi, Camilo, and Farruko, is a romantic declaration to a lost love, with nostalgic feelings that propose going back in time to experience that past love. This song has a very sentimental pop ballad sound. It also has the infectious rhythms of the urban genre, which undoubtedly demonstrates the innovative sense and musical versatility that REIK has mastered throughout its career, while showing the creative power of this star-studded fusion with Farruko and Camilo.
“Collaborating and sharing with different artists has given us more satisfaction than we could have ever imagined. In the specific case of Farruko and Camilo, it is of those unexpected mixtures and a combination of three voices and three super different personalities, but with the same willingness to share and do something different, something that excites us,” said Jesus.
“This is a song that has a very different style than what we have done before. The moment in which Julio, Camilo and I played the guitars, we made a special connection while writing the song. I love the result and how it just represents that sound that is changing from REIK,” said Bibi.
The music video of the single was directed by the renowned Argentine director Joaquin Cambre, and shows the artists singing in a gray atmosphere among ruins, while a surreal love story unfolds between the buildings and the city streets.
“The video as such is a work of art and represents that moment when all you want is to live again in that ruin, in that relationship that no longer exists and has already ended,” expressed Camilo.
“The song represents the struggle that everyone experiences, being in an environment where you still have that hope of rebuilding the lost love,” commented Farruko.
Currently, Jesus, Julio and Bibi celebrate the release of this new single, which follows their latest studio album, Ahora, production that received Platinum and Gold certifications in Mexico and RIAA certified 3X platinum in the U.S. Adding to their success, the artists also celebrate being one of the most nominated to Premio Lo Nuestro, shining in 10 categories.
