REIK renueva contrato con su casa disquera SONY MUSIC MÉXICO en alianza con SONY MUSIC US LATIN

MIAMI (9 de mayo de 2019) – Ganadores de
múltiples premios (GRAMMY®, Gaviotas de Plata y Oro, Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios
Billboard) y acreedores de innumerables certificaciones de Oro, Platino y
Diamante por las altas ventas a lo largo de su trayectoria, Reik se
mantiene firme y renueva contrato con su disquera Sony Music México,
que en esta ocasión suma fuerzas con Sony Music US Latin para
continuar desarrollando la carrera de la agrupación a nivel global, con el fin
de que continúen marcando tendencia musical como hasta ahora lo han logrado en
diversos géneros donde han incursionado con gran éxito.
Sobre la renovación del contrato, Jesús
Navarro comentó lo siguiente: “Ser un artista Sony es una linda
experiencia. Conforme vamos creciendo en esta industria y vamos acumulando
experiencia entendemos que tanto lo es, porque si bien hemos sido siempre parte
de la familia Sony desde que empezamos a trabajar hace 15 años, hemos tenido
acercamiento con diferentes artistas, equipos de trabajo y sabemos lo que
tenemos en casa. Creo que es más lindo todavía ahora que, a los 18 años de
edad, porque entendemos de fondo los compromisos que adquirimos y lo hacemos
con todo el gusto y con la certeza de que lo mejor que podemos hacer es seguir
poniendo nuestra carrera en sus manos”.
“Estamos felices de estar firmando
nuevamente con Sony Music. Ellos fueron los primeros en darnos nuestra
oportunidad de cumplir nuestro sueño de dedicarnos a la música. Yo tenía 16
años, Jesús 18 y Bibi 21. A esa edad todo ere pura ilusión. Ahora 15 años
después, nos sentimos orgullosos de llamar a SONY una familia y unos aliados
claves en lo que hoy en día se ha vuelto una carrera musical sólida. Han sido
muchos años de hacer equipo en las buenas y en las malas sin rendirnos. Por
esto y más estamos muy contentos de seguir juntos en este camino que se llama

En tanto, Bibi Marín agregó:

A lo largo de su carrera la
agrupación mexicana ha logrado sold-outs en los principales escenarios de:
México, Estados Unidos, España, Latinoamérica, además de que han llevado su
música a Corea y Marruecos.
Debido a su gran talento y alcance
internacional, Jesús, Julio y Bibi han
colaborado a lado de grandes figuras de la música como: Maluma,
Super Junior, Inna, Sin Bandera, Zion & Lennox, Nicky
Jam, Cristian Castro, Ozuna, Wisin & Yandel,
Sebastián Yatra y J Balvin, próximamente. Un claro ejemplo de su trascendencia
internacional es su sencillo “Me Niego” que actualmente cuenta con más
de 825 millones de vistas y el cual obtuvo grandes certificaciones en México,
Estados Unidos, España, Centro América, Colombia, Argentina, Italia, entre
otros y el cual se posicionó en N°1 en radio de América Latina 2018 (Monitor
Latino) y se mantuvo en los primeros lugares por varias semanas en los charts
globales de las principales plataformas digitales.

La agrupación se ha consolidado como
líder en el ámbito digital, siendo el artista mexicano con mayor cantidad de
oyentes mensuales en Spotify, en redes sociales rebasa los 20 millones de
seguidores, mientras que en su canal de YouTube cuenta con más de 3 mil 800
millones de reproducciones.
Alex Gallardo, Presidente de US
Latin mencionó: “En los últimos 15 años Reik se ha labrado una carrera
intachable. Su talento como grandes músicos y compositores, sumado a la

Actualmente, Reik se
encuentra preparando nueva música y lo que será su sexto álbum de estudio que

MIAMI (May 9, 2019) – The
legendary Mexican pop trio Reik has renewed its contract
with Sony Music México in alliance with Sony Music
Latin to continue developing the group around the world and further
its international momentum. Throughout its career, Reik has
won prestigious accolades such as the Latin GRAMMY®, Viña del Mar Festival,
Premio Lo Nuestro and Billboard Latin Music Awards, while receiving Diamond,
Platinum and Gold certifications for its records.
Lead vocalist Jesús Navarro reflected
on his years with Sony Music: “Being a Sony artist is a
beautiful experience. As we keep growing in this industry and gaining
perspective, we understand just what a big deal it is. We’ve been part of the
Sony family since we started working 15 years ago. Talking with other artists
and teams, we are aware of what a great home we have. It’s even more lovely now
than when we were 18, because we deeply understand the commitments we have been
entrusted with and we fulfill them knowing that putting our career in their
hands is the best thing we could do.”
Guitarist and backing vocalist Julio
Ramírez remembers how Sony believed in Reik from
the start: “We are happy to be signing with Sony once again. They were the
first company to give us a chance to fulfill our goal of being musicians. I was
16 years old, Jesús was 18 and Bibi was 21. At that age everything seemed like
a dream. Fifteen years later, we feel proud to consider Sony our family and as

Guitarist Bibi Marín emphasized
that Reik and Sony have a close relationship:

still have a close relationship with the company, which is key to pushing
forward as forcefully as we have.”
A touring machine, Reik has
sold out the most prestigious venues in Mexico, USA, Spain and Latin America,
while also performing in South Korea and Morocco.
Among the renowned artists who Reik has
collaborated with are Maluma, Super Junior, Inna, Sin
Bandera, Zion & Lennox,Nicky Jam, Cristian Castro, Ozuna, Wisin
& Yandel and Sebastián Yatra. A duet with J Balvin is coming soon.
A recent example of this is the massive success of the single “Me Niego”,
featuring Ozuna and Wisin, which has over 825
million views on YouTube and received important sales certifications in Mexico,
USA, Spain, Central America, Colombia, Argentina and Italy. It was named the
No. 1 radio hit of 2018 in Latin America by monitorLATINO and spent several
weeks near the top of the digital charts around the world.

Music México, hailed the next chapter in Reik‘s story: “The
renewal of the contract with Reik, now in alliance with our sister label, US

Reik‘s streaming
success has made it the Mexican act with the most monthly listeners on Spotify.
The group has over 20 million social-media followers, while its YouTube channel
has surpassed 3.8 billion views.
