MIAMI (28 de agosto de 2020) – La música de Thalía se ha caracterizado por su extravagante originalidad y su constante innovación. Hoy en día la superestrella internacional de la música latina, presenta su nuevo sencillo y video, “La Luz” junto a uno de los líderes de la nueva generación, Myke Towers. Con esta canción de ritmos innovadores y letra llena de positivismo, los artistas buscan entregar el próximo himno para todas las fiestas. A partir de hoy, el sencillo y video se encuentran disponible en todas las plataformas digitales.
“La Luz” no solo cuenta con la unión de los increíbles talentos de Thalía y Myke Towers, sino también, cuenta con la producción de Albert Hype, Manu Lara y el reconocido productor musical, Tainy; entregando la receta perfecta para una joya musical del Reggaetón y el Pop contemporáneo.
“Grabé ‘La Luz’ pensando en mi gente y en la oportunidad que nos da la música para subir nuestro nivel de positivismo y alegría, que es lo que más se necesita hoy en día. El video musical de la canción fue dirigido por Ariel Danziger, y fue grabado entre las ciudades de Nueva York y San Juan. En él, los artistas se presentan sobre una escenografía rústica, llena de luces de neón y efectos especiales que acompañan la esencia sensual y desinhibida que presenta la canción.
“Este video es muy especial para mí ya que fue una prueba de la necesidad del ser humano de seguir adelante durante los cambios que presenta la vida. Lo filmamos a principios de junio con las precauciones necesarias: ‘tests’, distanciamiento y todos los protocolos de cuidados en medio de la pandemia. ¡Utilizamos drones para enforzar el distanciamiento y fue una experiencia increíble! Me llenó de fe de que con cuidados y precaución uno puede construir un nuevo camino en esta nueva normalidad,” contó la cantante.
En este nuevo sencillo, Thalía también demuestra su versatilidad musical destacándose con sus propios versos de rap y contando con una estructura de composición excepcional dentro de su línea musical. “La Luz” formará parte de su próxima producción discográfica, dando una mirada previa a lo que traerán sus nuevos sonidos y su siguiente etapa musical.
A mediados de este año, Thalía estrenó su segundo disco infantil Viva Kids Vol. 2, el cual se convirtió en un completo éxito a nivel mundial, resultando en una nueva alianza entre la artista y la multiplataforma internacional, Discovery Kids. MIAMI (August 28, 2020) – Thalía’s music has always been characterized by its striking originality and constant innovation. Today, the international Latin music superstar presents her new single and video “La Luz” with one of the leaders of the new music generation, Myke Towers. With this song, the artists showcase a revolutionary blend of rhythms and lyrics full of positivism, aiming to deliver the next party anthem. The single and video is available now on all digital music platforms.
“La Luz” not only features the union of Thalía’s and Myke Towers’ incredible talents, but also the production skills of Albert Hype, Manu Lara, and renowned music producer Tainy; delivering the perfect fusion of Reggaeton and contemporary Pop.
“I recorded ‘La Luz’ thinking about my people and the opportunity that music gives us to raise our level of positivism and joy, which is what is most needed today. Also, it was excellent to be surrounded by great friends like Tainy and Myke, who injected all their strength to fill us with energy and light,” expressed Thalía.

Ariel Danziger directed the music video, which was filmed between New York City and San Juan, Puerto Rico. In the video, the artists perform on a rustic set, full of neon lights and special effects that accompany the sensual and uninhibited essence that the song presents.
“This video is very special to me as it shows proof of the innate human need to persevere through any challenge life presents. We filmed it in early June with the necessary precautions: tests, social distancing, and all the necessary protocols during the pandemic. We used drones to enforce distancing, and it was an amazing experience! It filled me with faith that, with care and caution, we can build a new path in this new normal,” said the singer.
In this new single, Thalía also demonstrates her musical versatility, shining with her own rap verses and having a unique compositional structure within her melodic line. “La Luz” will be part of her next album, and gives a preview of what she will present during her next musical era.
In the middle of this year, Thalía released her second children’s album Viva Kids Vol. 2, which became a complete success worldwide, resulting in a new alliance between the artist and the international multimedia platform, Discovery Kids. Throughout August, September, and October, Thalía will unveil surprises, including the special content of Viva Kids Vol. 2, coloring books, minigames, and music videos. Besides, a storyteller from the original Discovery Kids Plus interactive book, “Un Virus Que Viene Y Va”, which explains to children about the prevention of Coronavirus, will feature Thalía’s voice.
