UTOPÍA de ROMEO SANTOS certificado 4x Plantino (RIAA) por sus ventas
MIAMI (6 de abril de 2020) – El Álbum UTOPIA de Romeo Santos acaba de ser certificado 4x Platino (RIAA) por sus ventas. En esta producción el cantautor une el pasado con el futuro honrando la bachata tradicional.
Esta propuesta ambiciosa y original que presenta canciones nuevas con arreglos musicales autóctonos en colaboración con grandes artistas de este género sumamente dominicano logró alcanzar el éxito no solo en sus ventas sino en las listas de la revista Billboard.
Su sencillo “Inmortal” el cual reúne, luego de 10 años, al fenómeno del grupo Aventura logró colocarse 18 semanas en el puesto #1 de la lista Tropical de Billboard y, el sencillo es el que más tiempo logró permanecer en esta lista. También alcanzó #1 en la lista Latin Airplay y está certificado 8x multi-platino.
UTOPIA fue el Álbum Favorito Tropical de los Latin American Music Awards 2019, permaneció por 12 semanas #1 en la lista Tropical Albums de Billboard , # 1 en la lista Top Latin Albums. También obtuvo el debut más grande en una semana de ventas para un álbum tropical en el 2019 y el debut más grande en “streaming” en una semana de un álbum tropical en el 2019.
UTOPIA se convirtió en el 4to álbum de Romeo Santos como solista, cuenta con 12 temas inéditos de su autoría, siendo cada uno de ellos colaboraciones con bachateros tradicionales que creció escuchando. Romeo Santos enaltece sus raíces en esta obra de amor al folclor dominicano.

MIAMI (April 6, 2020) – Utopía, the critically acclaimed neotraditional album by Romeo Santos that comprises new material backed by rootsy bachata arrangements, has been certified Quadruple Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
This original and ambitious project includes collaborations with bachata’s most respected and authentic artists, putting this quintessentially Dominican genre in the spotlight. A critical and commerical success, this album has been a strong seller and produced several hit singles.
His song “Inmortal,” which reunited him with his former group Aventura for their first single together in 10 years, reigned for a record 18 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart. It also hit #1 on the overall Latin Airplay chart and is certified 8x Platinum.
