YENNIS & MATI GÓMEZ lanzan el dueto juvenil de la temporada con “FIESTA”
MIAMI (6 de noviembre de 2020) – La electrizante cantante cubana Yennis hace una seductora combinación con el talentoso chileno Mati Gómez en su colaboración de dancehall-reggaetón con “Fiesta”. El sencillo está disponible hoy en todas las plataformas digitales, mientras que el video se puede disfrutar en el canal de YouTube de Yennis. También se estrenará un fascinante cortometraje con el detrás de cámaras que muestra cómo fue realizado el video.
Las restricciones de viaje dificultaron que Yennis, quien radica en Miami, y Mati, viviendo en Chile, aparecieran juntos en persona. Así que el director chileno, Piero Madone, adoptó un enfoque creativo para generar calor entre los rompecorazones de 21 años. Las escenas de Yennis se llevan a cabo dentro de un almacén, mientras que Mati aparece como si estuviera escuchándola cantar desde afuera de los muros, los cuales son una metáfora para los miles de kilómetros y el cambio tan drástico de clima que los separaba durante la grabación en agosto.
Mientras Mati está vestido para el invierno del hemisferio sur y Yennis está vestida para el trópico, sus guardarropas están unidos por un tema rosa neón que luce increíble en ambos. Yennis atrapa la atención con sus letras: “Todos los truquitos tú te sabes, dejaré de hacerme la santa”, mientras que Mati no puede evitar responder: “Hasta que amanezca, yo te doy fiesta”.
Fusionando dancehall con cumbia, reggaetón y estruendosos riffs de metales, “Fiesta” es un regreso bien recibido para Yennis, quien en abril estrenó el video oficial de su sencillo debut con Sony Music Latin “De Tu Cama Pa’ Mi Cama”.
Yennis saltó a la fama en noviembre de 2019 al quedar en primer lugar en la competencia musical Reina de La Canción, transmitido por Univisión y con Daddy Yankee como productor ejecutivo. Como ganadora recibió de premio un contrato de grabación con Sony Music Latin, así como un acuerdo de representación artística.
Por su parte, el cantante y compositor Mati Gómez firmó con Sony Music en marzo de 2020 y deslumbró a los fans con su fusión acústica-urbana “Yo No Sé (Remix)” junto a Nicky Jam y Reik.
YENNIS & MATI GÓMEZ Release Their First Collaboration “FIESTA”
MIAMI (November 6, 2020) – The electrifying Cuban singer Yennis makes a seductive combination with the Chilean talent Mati Gómez on their dancehall-reggaetón collaboration “Fiesta.” The single is available today from all digital-music outlets, while the video can be enjoyed on Yennis’ YouTube channel. Also premiering is a fascinating behind-the-scenes short film that shows how the video was crafted.
Travel restrictions made it difficult for Yennis, based in Miami, and Mati, based in Chile, to appear together in person. The director and Chilean native Piero Madone took a creative approach to generating heat between the 21-year-old heartthrobs. Yennis’ scenes portray the inside of a warehouse, while Mati hears her sing from outside the walls, which are a metaphor for the thousands of miles and drastically different climate that separated them during the August video shoot.
While Mati is dressed for the Southern Hemisphere winter and Yennis is dressed for the tropics, their wardrobes are united by a common neon pink theme that looks great on both of them. Yennis gets his attention with her lyrics “Todos los truquitos tú te sabes, dejaré de hacerme la santa” (you know all the tricks, I’ll stop being saintly), as Mati can’t help but respond “Hasta que amanezca, yo te doy fiesta” (I’ll give you the party until the sun comes up). Fusing dancehall with cumbia, reggaetón and booming brass riffs, “Fiesta” is a welcome return for Yennis, who in April premiered the official video of her Sony Music Latin debut single “De Tu Cama Pa’ Mi Cama” (From Your Bed To Mine).
Yennis rose to fame in November 2019 as the winner of the musical talent competition Reina de La Canción (Queen of the Song), broadcast by Univision and Daddy Yankee as executive producer. As the winner, she received a recording contract with Sony Music Latin, as well as a management contract.
The singer and songwriter Mati Gómez signed with Sony Music in March 2020 and dazzled fans with his urban-acoustic fusion “Yo No Sé (Remix)” featuring Nicky Jam and Reik.
