MIAMI (14 de abril de 2022) – Ir Sais regresa con su nuevo sencillo y video oficial titulado “Claramente” a través de Sony Music Latin. Durante la pandemia, el cantante caribeño alcanzó más de seis mil millones de visitas en TikTok con su éxito, “Dream Girl“, que ha sido 8x certificado Platino por la RIAA. La canción también cuenta con remixes de la mano de Rauw Alejandro y Sean Paul & Davido. Ahora en 2022, regresa con un arsenal de música nueva y una perspectiva más clara.
Producida por Ir Sais, “Claramente” se trata sobre reconocer el momento adecuado para dejar ir una relación tormentosa. En el video, dirigido por Ryan “QD El Mago” Navarro, Ir Sais tiene esta epifanía a través de una escapada de ensueño por las playas de su tierra natal Bonaire.
“Claramente representa la historia de alguien que estaba cegado en el amor y no podía ver la toxicidad de su pareja. Al final se da cuenta de cómo es su pareja en realidad, exponiendo su lado negativo. Todo esto se combina en un sonido tropical caribeño que representa las raíces de mi isla”, Ir Sais comentó.

La lengua nativa de Ir Sais es papiamento, una mezcla de español, holandés, portugués y lenguas africanas, que se ve reflejado en su estilo musical. Marcando la línea entre el afropop, el dancehall, el trap latino y el reggaetón.
“Claramente” viene después de “Chikita Mala”, su colaboración con Walshy Fire de Major Lazer titulada “Validé” y de “Baila Kumi” con el joven cantante colombiano Manuel Turizo, alcanzando más de cuatro millones de visitas en YouTube en su video musical. Estos sencillos captaron la atención de VEVO, quien recientemente reconoció a Ir Sais como su DSCVR Artist of the Day el 14 de marzo.
Acerca de Ir Sais
Ir Sais es el nombre artístico de Irgwin Placido Sluis, quien nació en la isla de Bonaire que forma parte de las Antillas Neerlandesas. Su padre falleció cuando Irgwin apenas tenía un año. A los 11 años, empezó a tocar batería con latas de aluminio. Con una formación musical íntegramente autodidacta, Ir Sais ahora domina muchos instrumentos al igual que la producción. Después de probar el éxito con varias bandas populares de Bonaire, se fue a radicar en Holanda en el 2008, emprendiendo una exitosa carrera en solitario donde mezcla el pop con el ritmo caribeño de zouk. En el 2018, su canción “Dream Girl” fue descubierta por el remixer francés Djly Prod, quien la compartió con sus seguidores, ayudándole a que se volviera viral en conjunto con el #DreamGirlChallenge que dio aún más impulso no solamente a la canción sino también a la plataforma TikTok que en ese entonces era relativamente desconocida. MIAMI (April 14, 2022) – Ir Sais returns with his brand new single and video “Claramente” via Sony Music Latin. Over the pandemic, the Caribbean crooner amassed more than six billion TikTok views for his 8x RIAA certified Platinum hit “Dream Girl,” which features remixes alongside Rauw Alejandro and Sean Paul & Davido. Now in 2022, he emerges with the rest of the world, carrying an arsenal of new music and a clearer perspective.
Produced by Ir Sais, “Claramente” is about knowing when to let go of a rocky relationship. In its accompanying video, directed by Ryan “QD El Mago” Navarro, Ir Sais discovers this epiphany through a dreamy escapade across the beaches of his homeland Bonaire.
“Claramente represents the story of someone who was blindly in love and cannot see the toxicity of their partner. In the end, they come to the realization of who their partner actually is, exposing their bad side. All of this is combined into a tropical Caribbean sound representing my island roots,” Ir Sais states.

Ir Sais’ native tongue is Papiamento, a blend of Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, and African languages, which is reflected in his musical style. He toes the line between Afropop, dancehall, Latin trap and reggaeton.
“Claramente” follows Ir Sais’ latest 2022 track “Chikita Mala,” his collaboration with Walshy Fire of Major Lazer entitled “Validé” and “Baila Kumi” with the young Colombian vocalist Manuel Turizo, which racked up more than four million YouTube views on its video. These anthems garnered the attention of VEVO, who recently recognized Ir Sais as their DSCVR Artist of the Day on March 14.
About Ir Sais
Ir Sais is the artistic moniker of Irgwin Placido Sluis, born on the Caribbean island of Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles. His father died when Irgwin was just 1 year old. At 11, he began playing drums on tin cans. Completely self-taught, Ir Sais now masters several instruments as well as the production side. After getting his first taste of success with local Bonaire bands, he moved to the Netherlands in 2008, launching a solo career with original material that fuses pop with the Caribbean zouk rhythm. In 2018, his song “Dream Girl” caught the attention of the French remixer Djly Prod, who helped the song go viral and led to the #DreamGirlChallenge that drew massive attention to both the song and the still relatively unknown platform TikTok. Ir Sais recorded this song and much of his material in Papiamento, the language of Bonaire with roots in Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch and African languages.
