El Artista Global RICKY MARTIN Estrena Su Nuevo Sencillo Y Video “A VECES BIEN Y A VECES MAL” Junto Al Galardonado Grupo REIK
La Emotiva Balada Formará Parte De Su EP PLAY El Cual Se Lanzará A Nivel Mundial El 20 De Mayo De 2022MIAMI (14 de abril de 2022) – El artista multiganador de GRAMMY® y Latin GRAMMY®, Ricky Martin, continúa impactando con nueva música, esta vez con un nuevo sencillo y video titulado “A Veces Bien y A Veces Mal” junto al grupo mexicano de pop Reik, siendo esta la primera colaboración entre ambos artistas. En “A Veces Bien y A Veces Mal”, Ricky junto a Reik nos hacen participes del sentimiento que comparten en común ante la ausencia de una persona especial, recordándonos que es “fácil querer, pero difícil olvidar”. Acompañado de una emotiva actuación, ambos artistas reflejan la vulnerabilidad de un corazón que se resiste a aceptar la realidad. La canción fue compuesta por Ricky Martin, Pablo Preciado, Pedro Capó, Ignacio “Kiko” Cibrían, Julio Ramírez Juvelo y Mauricio Rengifo y Andrés Torres (Cali y El Dandee), quienes también son los responsables de la producción del tema. “Esta canción es muy especial, a mí me encanta”, dijo Ricky. “Es muy romántica y me lleva de alguna manera al comienzo de mi carrera. Lo curioso es que nosotros la grabamos al inicio de la pandemia y pensé que tenía que salir en el momento adecuado, no antes ni después y finalmente aquí está. Yo tenía muchas ganas de trabajar con Reik, son un grupo sumamente talentoso y tanto ellos como yo esperamos que la reciban con el mismo amor con el que la hicimos. Estoy loco por cantarla en vivo”. Mientras que Jesús Navarro de Reik expresó “Para nosotros Ricky es uno de los artistas más completos y enormes en cuestión de talento y rango, y hemos sido su fan desde hace muchos años. Poder colaborar con él por primera vez es algo muy especial para nosotros y más con una canción tan honesta como esta”. El video de “A Veces Bien y A Veces Mal”, a estrenarse hoy en el canal oficial de Ricky Martin en YouTube, fue dirigido por la directora y fotógrafa costarricense Daniela Vesco y filmado en Puerto Rico. El mismo cuenta con la actuación de la modelo española Ángela Ponce, quien es conocida por hacer historia en el 2018 al ser la primera mujer transgénero coronada como Miss España. “Angela me vino a la mente inmediatamente que empezamos a trabajar el tratamiento del video”, recordó Ricky. “Ella es símbolo de éxito, de igualdad y el trabajo que ha hecho en nombre de nuestra comunidad alrededor del mundo ha sido sumamente importante. Una canción tan linda como esta debía tener como modelo a una mujer hermosa como ella”. Este lanzamiento se da paralelamente con las nominaciones del vocalista a la próxima edición de los Latin American Music Awards en las categorías de “Gira del Año” y “Artista Social Favorito” y a los Billboard Music Awards por “Mejor Gira Latina”. Este nuevo sencillo viene tras su éxito “Otra Noche en L.A.”, el cual formará parte del anticipado EP PLAY, que será lanzado el 20 mayo de 2022 bajo Sony Music Latin. MIAMI, FL (April 14, 2022) – Multi-GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY®-winning artist, Ricky Martin, continues making an impact with new music, this time with a new single and video titled “A Veces Bien y A Veces Mal” with Mexico’s hottest pop group Reik, marking this there first collaboration together.
In “A Veces Bien y A Veces Mal”, Ricky Martin and Reik evoke the feelings they share during the absence of a special person, reminding us that it is “easy to fall in love, but very difficult to forget.” The single is accompanied by a video with an emotional performance, in which both artists embody the vulnerability of a heart in denial. The song was composed by Ricky Martin, Pablo Preciado, Pedro Capó, Ignacio “Kiko” Cibrían, Julio Ramírez Juvelo and Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres (Cali and El Dandee), who are also responsible for producing the song.
“This song is very special to me” said Ricky. “It’s very romantic and in many ways takes me back to the beginning of my career. The funny thing is that we recorded it at the beginning of the pandemic, and I thought it had to come out at the right time, not before or after, and finally here it is. I really wanted to work with Reik, they are an extremely talented group and we hope that fans will receive it with the same love with which we made it. I can’t wait to sing it live.”
While Jesús Navarro from Reik expressed “For us, Ricky is one of the most complete and grand artists in terms of talent and range, and we have been his fans for many years. To be able to collaborate with him for the first time is something very special for us and even more so with a song as honest as this one.”
The video for “A Veces Bien y A Veces Mal,” premiering today on Ricky Martin’s YouTube channel, by Costa Rican director and photographer Daniela Vesco was filmed in Puerto Rico. It features a performance by the Spanish model Angela Ponce who madehistory as the first transgender woman crowned Miss Spain in 2018.
“Angela immediately came to mind when we started working on the video treatment,” Ricky recalled. “She is a symbol of success and equality. The work she has done on behalf of our community around the world is extremely important. I felt that a song as sincere as this one should have a beautiful woman like her as its model.”
The release comes at the hand of the vocalist’s nominations for “Tour of the Year” and “Favorite Social Artist” at the next edition of the Latin American Music Awards and “Best Latin Tour” at the Billboard Music Awards.
