MIAMI (7 de septiembre de 2021) – Un fin de semana muy importante para la BANDA MS DE SERGIO LIZÁRRAGA, que por segunda ocasión volvió a llenar en su totalidad el emblemático MADISON SQUARE GARDEN de la ciudad de Nueva York, en donde más de 10 mil personas se dieron cita para disfrutar y aplaudir a una de las bandas sobresalientes de la década.
La noche del pasado 3 de septiembre este recinto vibró nuevamente con el sonido de la tuba, el clarinete y la tambora y en el cual se escucharon éxitos como: “CERRANDO CICLOS”, “POSITIVO”, “LA CASITA”, “TU POSTURA”, “MEJOR ME ALEJO”, entre otros muchos. Esta presentación fue diferente por muchos motivos, en primer lugar porque la BANDA MS se hizo acreedora a un importante reconocimiento multi-platino por las ventas acumuladas del éxito “QUÉ MALDICIÓN”, mismo que fue certificado por la RIAA y distribuido por The Orchard. Recordemos que, con esta canción, se rompieron muchos de los parámetros previamente establecidos, creando un estilo único en el cual se fusionaron tres estilos y tres culturas.
Adicionalmente, este concierto también contó con la participación de Natalia Jiménez, quien le dio una variedad al espectáculo. Además de su presentación, la intérprete cantó junto con BANDA MS los temas “POR SIEMPRE MI AMOR”, “QUE BUENO ES TENERTE” y “EL COLOR DE TUS OJOS”. La BANDA MS DE SERGIO LIZÁRRAGA, concluyó este espectáculo de manera sorpresiva, pues pocos minutos antes de finalizar, sobre el escenario, apareció un mariachi que junto con los vocalistas interpretaron algunos temas tradicionales de música mexicana.
La agrupación está catalogada como un importante exponente del género regional mexicano. Su estilo y su show, son motivo de constantes comentarios en diversos medios. MIAMI (September 7, 2021) – BANDA MS DE SERGIO LIZÁRRAGA enjoyed an unforgettable Labor Day weekend, as on Friday, September 3, the brass banda sold out New York City’s emblematic MADISON SQUARE GARDEN for the second time in its career, delighting over 10,000 attendees and showing once again why it is considered the most prominent banda of the decade.
MSG swayed to the sounds of the tuba, the clarinet and the drums as fans sang along to such mega-hits as “CERRANDO CICLOS,” “POSITIVO,” “LA CASITA,” “TU POSTURA” and “MEJOR ME ALEJO.”
This presentation was unique for many reasons, first of all because BANDA MS was presented with an RIAA multi-Platinum certification for sales of its chart-topper “QUÉ MALDICIÓN,” its history-making duet with Snoop Dogg, along with a tri-cultural remix featuring Snoop and Becky G. Both the original single and the remix are distributed by The Orchard.
Concertgoers also enjoyed BANDA MS’s special guest, the renowned Spanish singer Natalia Jiménez. In addition to her solo set, she teamed up with BANDA MS for duets of their hits “POR SIEMPRE MI AMOR” and “EL COLOR DE TUS OJOS,” as well as a track that she recorded with the group, “QUE BUENO ES TENERTE.”
For the concert’s climactic finale, BANDA MS was joined by a mariachi which performed timeless classics of the Mexican songbook sung by the group’s lead vocalists.
