MYA presenta “TE QUIERO X ESO”

MIAMI (January 8, 2021) – New Year, New Music! After garnering many new achievements and recognitions in 2020, the Argentine pop duo MYA kicks off 2021 with the release of their new single and video “TE QUIERO X ESO” (That’s Why I Love You).

As the duo’s members Maxi and Agus explain it: “We step into 2021 with this new song that we wrote recently. It has a vibe that’s very fresh, romantic and perfect for the current summer season here in the Southern Hemisphere. It features the lyrical phrase ‘Bailemos un reggaetoncito de esos’ (Let’s dance to one of those reggaetón jams), which invites us to dance to MYA’s signature style – slow, and up against each other.”

“We wrote ‘Te Quiero X Eso’ with our musical brothers of the Colombian production team MAPACHE. We weren’t expecting this song to burst forth, and in fact had other potential singles in mind. But this one caught our attention from the first day, so we decided to release it as soon as we could. It was mixed by another ally of ours, the engineer MOSTY, who we’ve worked with for some time.”

“The music video has a twist – we felt like it was the perfect time to invite our partners to appear, giving it a homespun, pure, real and romantic atmosphere. We had a lot of fun filming it! It was directed by Diego Plastina, whom we have previously worked with on our video for ‘Te Vas.’”

“‘Te Quiero X Eso’ rings in the new year which promises to be filled with music and goals. We hope you like it!”
