MIAMI (9 de septiembre de 2020) – La versátil cantante y compositora argentina Nicki Nicole, una de las artistas jóvenes más aclamadas por la crítica de la música latina y con mayor explosión internacional, regresa con su ambicioso tema y video “Mala Vida”. Este sencillo se encuentra disponible a partir de hoy en todas las plataformas digitales de música, y el video se puede disfrutar a través de su canal de YouTube.
Combinando el flow urbano con un majestuoso coro ideal para corear, “Mala Vida” es un himno que está destinado a convertirse en una de las canciones más importantes de su emergente carrera.
Nicki quería que el video musical fuera un tributo a El Padrino, y logró su visión en un video cinematográfico que presenta vestuarios de los 40s, y una trama fascinante en el que busca vengar un asesinato. En palabras de Nicki: “‘Mala Vida’ surgió luego de ver la saga del Padrino, nunca la había visto y en tres noches junto con mis productores la vimos completa. De ahí me nació mucha inspiración, de crear algo con estilo mafia pero con mis ideas. Así surgió ‘Mala Vida’ y con un video increíble quedó plasmado de manera perfecta. Siempre quise hacer un video que se base en un tráiler y El Padrino y la cultura italiana fue el disparador y mi inspiración”.
Filmado en Buenos Aires por la directora Jess “La Polaca” Praznik para Dale Play Records y Sony Music Latin.

“Mala Vida” es el segundo sencillo de Nicki con Sony Music Latin, siguiendo los pasos de su sencillo debut influenciado por Drake, “Colocao” con más de 110 millones de reproducciones en YouTube y Spotify, y “Mamichula”, su apasionante colaboración con Trueno y el productor Bizarrap que ha superado las 200 millones de reproducciones en tan solo un mes en YouTube y Spotify.

MIAMI (September 9, 2020) – The versatile Argentine singer and songwriter Nicki Nicole, one of the most critically acclaimed young artists in Latin music with explosive international success, returns with her ambitious song and video “Mala Vida.” This single is available today from all digital-music outlets, and the music video can be enjoyed on her YouTube channel.
Combining urban flow with a majestic, stadium-friendly chorus, “Mala Vida” is an anthem that is destined to become one of the most important songs of her emerging career.
Nicki wanted the music video to be a tribute to The Godfather, and achieved her vision in a cinematic spectacle that features gorgeous 1940s era wardrobes, and a riveting plot in which she seeks to avenge a murder. As Nicki puts it, “‘Mala Vida’ was inspired by watching The Godfather trilogy. I had never seen it, and I watched all three movies on consecutive nights with my producers. It greatly inspired me to create something mafia-styled, but with my ideas. The video came from that. It’s incredible and gets the feel exactly right. I always wanted to make a video that looks like a movie trailer, and The Godfather and Italian culture are what set off my inspiration.”
It was filmed at Arenas Studios in Buenos Aires by director Jess “La Polaca” Praznik for Dale Play Records and Sony Music Latin.
