MIAMI (10 de junio, 2020) – ¡Seis grandes artistas quienes nos han hecho bailar como nadie unen fuerzas para rescatar y actualizar un clásico del merengue y convertirlo en el nuevo himno de Zumba®! Steve Aoki, Darell, Farina, Play-N-Skillz, Kiko El Crazy y Toño Rosario estrenaron el sencillo y lyric video “DALE CINTURA (Kuliki)” en todas las plataformas de música digital y YouTube.
Originalmente lanzado en 2003, “Kulikitaka” escrito por Rey David Santana e interpretado por el legendario merenguero dominicano Toño Rosario, cosechó gran éxito en los centros nocturnos. La canción cobró nuevos aires luego de ser descubierta por jóvenes en el sur de la India en el 2018. Su impulso siguió creciendo hasta llegar a ser tendencia en las redes sociales, con celebridades de la talla de Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber y Selena Gómez bailándola para el deleite de sus millones de seguidores.
Toño Rosario de nuevo forma parte del elenco estelar de esta versión, y es acompañado por grandes artistas de diferentes países – el renombrado productor y empresario estadounidense de la música electrónica Steve Aoki, el emergente talento puertorriqueño de trap Darell, “la Nena Fina” de Colombia Farina, El dúo de hermanos mega productores Play-N-Skillz, y el joven artista urbano dominicano Kiko El Crazy.

Acerca de Kiko El Crazy
Jose Alberto Rojas Peralta nació el 27 de septiembre del 1990 en Santo Domingo en el barrio de Los Mina de la zona oriental en la República Dominicana. Su primer tema fue “un to pa to” en el 2009 el cual tuvo un gusto popular en su barrio, Los Mina. En el 2011 es nominado a los Premios Casandra como compositor en el tema “Prende la hookah” interpretado por Tulile. En el año 2019 Kiko El Crazy continúa lanzando canciones, como “Bajé con trenza” el cual contó con la colaboracion de Ozuna, “Mente a na” junto a Maffio, Tito el Bambino, Nacho y Químico Ultramega; y “Mueve la cadera”, con la colaboración de El Alfa.

Originally released in 2003, “Kulikitaka,” written by Rey David Santana and performed by the legendary Dominican merenguero Toño Rosario, became a staple at nightclubs. The song got a second wind in 2018 after being rediscovered by young people in the south of India. This momentum helped it eventually emerge as a modern-day trending song on social media, with such young superstars as Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber and Selena Gómez singing and dancing to it to the delight of their millions of followers.
