MALUMA sorprende a sus fans lanzando su nuevo álbum PAPI JUANCHO
A través de un Instagram live Maluma anunció ayer que lanzaría su quinta producción discográfica a la media noche desatando la euforia entre sus seguidores

MIAMI (21 de agosto de 2020). El ídolo global de la música latina, Maluma, acaba de sorprender a sus fans con el lanzamiento de su quinto álbum titulado Papi Juancho. El joven artista que se había alejado de sus redes sociales toda la semana, reapareció anoche en un Instagram live con el anuncio especial que a partir de la media noche sacaría su nueva producción la cual creó con su equipo de productores y co-compositores durante la pandemia. La noticia desató furor entre los fans y corrió como la pólvora entre sus seguidores que superan los 100 millones en sus redes (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook y Twitter).
Papi Juancho cuenta con 22 canciones creadas en este tiempo de cuarentena entre Medellín y Miami, es el resultado de muchos años de trabajo y la evolución del alter ego de Maluma, el “Dirty Boy” que ya creció y ahora es “Papi Juancho”.
“Este álbum es muy especial para mí, es mi esencia, con lo que crecí, la música que disfruto con mis amigos. En el disco está mi gusto personal a nivel de reggaetón, por eso quise invitar a los artistas que me han inspirado. Es una producción que hice con mucho amor para complacer a mis seguidores, pero también, para satisfacerme a mí mismo. Quiero que la gente lo disfrute, que lo gocen: esta es la esencia de Papi Juancho”, comentó el artista.
Añadiendo que “Es un disco muy completo que está hecho con mucho detalle. Por ejemplo la canción ‘Medallo City’ es un trap con salsa y en mi música no había experimentado ese género musical y todo lo que dice, la letra, son términos que utilizamos nosotros en Medellín, específicamente en Envigado, donde crecí, es puro barrio. Yo quiero mostrar mi cultura, y quiero que la gente vea de dónde soy yo, yo soy de Medallo City”.
Producido por The Rude Boyz (Kevin ADG y Chan “El Genio”), con quienes Maluma ha colaborado desde su primer álbum (Magia en el 2012), Papi Juancho cuenta con canciones escritas por Maluma junto a Edgar Barrera, Kevin ADG, Chan “El Genio”, Miky La Sensa, Vicente Barco, Juan Camilo Vargas, entre otros y colaboraciones especiales con artistas del Reggaetón desde sus inicios así como de la nueva escuela, incluyendo: Darell, Jory Boy, Justin Quiles, Lenny Tavarez, Myke Towers, Ñejo & Dalmata, Ñengo Flow, Randy, Yandel, Yomo y Zion.

MIAMI (August 21, 2020) -Global Latin music idol Maluma just surprised his fans with the release of his fifth album, entitled Papi Juancho.The young artist who had disappeared from social media all week, re-appeared yesterday in an Instagram live, with the special announcement that he would release his latest production at midnight. The news sparked euphoria among his fans and spread like wildfire among his followers which surpass 100 million on his social media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter).
Papi Juancho is composed of 22 songs created while quarantined in Medellin, Colombia and Miami, Florida. It’s the result of many years of hard work and the evolution of Maluma‘s alter ego; “Papi Juancho” is the “Dirty Boy” (from his second album Pretty Boy Dirty Boy) all grown up.
“This album is very special, it represents my essence, what I grew up with, the music I enjoy with my friends and my personal taste in reggaeton music. That’s why I collab with artists that have inspired me. It’s made with lots of love make my fans happy and also to make myself happy. I want people to really enjoy and have a great time with this music, that’s the essence of Papi Juancho,” the artist expressed.
“Its a very complete and detailed album. For example, the track ‘Medallo City’ is a trap mixed with salsa, a genre I hadn’t experimented with in my music, and all of what it says in the lyrics, is slang we use in Medellin, specifically in Envigado, where I grew up. I want to show my culture and I want people to see where I am from, I’m from Medallo City,” he added.
Produced by the Rude Boyz (Kevin ADG y Chan “El Genio”), who have worked with Maluma since his first album, Papi Juancho’s22 tracks were written by Maluma alongside Edgar Barrera, Kevin ADG, Chan “El Genio”, Miky La Sensa, Vicente Barco, Juan Camilo Vargas, among others. It includes unexpected collabs with hard core old school and new school Reggaetón artists: Darell, Jory Boy, Justin Quiles, Lenny Tavarez, Myke Towers, Ñejo & Dalmata, Ñengo Flow, Randy, Yandel, Yomo y Zion.
