VICENTICO explora el infinito desde adentro en EL POZO BRILLANTE

MIAMI (24 de mayo de 2021) – Vicentico presenta El Pozo Brillante: una invitación a quebrar la procrastinación y hacer lo que siempre dejamos para después…animarnos a sacar afuera la sensibilidad y hacer lo que tenemos ganas, con la esperanza de que esa liberación que buscamos pronto va a llegar.
Se trata de su esperado séptimo álbum de estudio como solista, el sucesor de Último Acto (2014) que llega luego de sus últimos lanzamientos discográficos con Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, La salvación de Solo y Juan (2016) y En vivo en The Theater at Madison Square Garden (2017).
El primer paso de esta exploración interior se dio hacia fines de octubre 2019 con el lanzamiento del celebrado single y video inicial “FREAK”, que también abre el álbum y plantea un poco el tono del mismo.
Continuó su camino en mayo 2020 con el segundo adelanto “No Tengo”, único cover incluido en el disco, aunque la versión de Vicentico es -como siempre-, muy propia.
Y tuvo en “Cuando Salga”, estrenado en septiembre del año pasado, su tercer anticipo; aunque fuera escrita pre-pandemia, el tema que llegó como una nota de esperanza para cuando todo esto termine definitivamente.
El Pozo Brillante, contiene otras siete canciones inéditas entre las que se encuentra “Ahora”, que está incluida en dos versiones muy diferentes, cuyos videos lyrics acompañan el lanzamiento del álbum como single presentación.
El disco fue grabado en un largo proceso durante el año 2019 entre Buenos Aires y Nueva York, producido por Vicentico y el reconocido Héctor Castillo, con mezcla del mismo Castillo, James Brown y Tony Maserati.
Todas las canciones fueron compuestas por Vicentico, salvo “Ain’t got no (I Got Life)”, canción popularizada por la gran Nina Simone. No contiene ningún featuring, pero en él tocan un montón de talentosos amigos del artista argentino, como Chris Bruce, Glenn Patscha, Mariano Otero, Jeff Hill, Didi Gutman, Tano Martelli, Flor de Toloache, y Sebas Fucci, entre otros.

MIAMI (May 24, 2021) – Vicentico presents his seventh studio album El Pozo Brillante, an invitation to break free from procrastination, put our heart on our sleeve, and do the things we’ve always wanted to do, with the hope of finding the liberation that we seek.
Vicentico’s latest album is his first solo set since Último Acto (2014). In the interim, he has released two records with his bandmates of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, the concept album La Salvación de Solo y Juan (2016) and the live set En Vivo en The Theater at Madison Square Garden (2017).
The first step that Vicentico made on the introspective journey of his new album took place in late October 2019 with the release of its celebrated first single and video “Freak.” It is the opening track on the album and sets the tone for the whole work.
He followed that up in May 2020 with the second preview “No Tengo”. A cover of Nina Simone’s 1968 medley inspired by the Hair musical, it is remade in Vicentico’s unmistakable style.
The third single “Cuando Salga”, from September 2020, was written prior to the pandemic but contains lyrics that feel relatable to our hopes for its end.
El Pozo Brillante features seven other brand-new songs, including “Ahora”, which serves as the focus track that coincides with the album release and is available in two radically different versions that are accompanied by lyric videos.
The album was painstakingly recorded throughout 2019 in Buenos Aires and New York. It is produced by Vicentico and the renowned Héctor Castillo, with mixing by Castillo, along with James Brown and Tony Maserati.
All of the songs besides “No Tengo” are Vicentico-written originals, and he is the sole lead vocalist on every track. However, he is accompanied by a who’s-who of world-class musicians who he considers friends – among them, Chris Bruce, Glenn Patscha, Mariano Otero, Jeff Hill, Didi Gutman, Tano Martelli, the mariachi Flor de Toloache, and Sebas Fucci.
