VÍCTOR MANUELLE y LA INDIA rompen sus propios récords con el éxito de su icónica colaboración “VÍCTIMAS LAS DOS”

MIAMI (25 de mayo de 2021) – “Víctimas las Dos”, el poderoso junte entre Víctor Manuelle y La India, sigue consolidándose como el tema tropical más sobresaliente de este año. Esta semana, “Víctimas las Dos” llega a la cima de la lista Tropical Airplay de Billboard.
En su décimo cuarta semana en la lista, esta canción alcanza el puesto #1, comprobando que la salsa sigue siendo imparable en manos de dos de sus exponentes más queridos, quienes desde hace años han buscado la manera de hacer este “equipo de ensueño”. Se trata de un triunfo no solamente para los intérpretes de esta canción sino para todos los amantes de la salsa.
Con este logro, tanto Víctor Manuelle como La India rompen sus propios récords. Víctor ahora con 29; mientras La India reafirma su estatus como la intérprete tropical femenina con más números uno – 11 en total.
Víctor se siente muy satisfecho con esta nueva hazaña en su carrera: “Siempre confié que ‘Víctimas Las Dos’ era una gran canción. Me siento súper emocionado de que haya llegado al primer lugar. “Víctimas las Dos” trata sobre una mujer que descubre que su enamorado tiene una doble vida y ninguna de las dos sabía de la otra. El hombre juega con ambas sin ellas saber en la situación que estaban. La India se encarga de desenmacarar el engaño con su ya conocida fuerza interpretativa en temas de esta índole. El personaje de Víctor Manuelle trata de defenderse dando excusas y explicaciones que en vez de ayudarle lo hacen lucir más culpable.
“Siempre quise grabar una canción con La India, ya que admiro mucho su talento y trayectoria. Aparte que considero que es la figura femenina más importante de la salsa. Creo que este tema ‘Víctimas las Dos’ va a ser un himno para todas las mujeres porque es un tema feminista. No tengo duda que será ese tipo de canción que todas quieren cantar en los karaokes. En lo personal, me recuerda esa época dorada del dúo Pimpinela”, comenta el sonero.

“Víctimas las Dos” is about a woman who discovers that her partner is leading a double life with neither woman aware of the other. The man manipulates both of them without their knowledge. La India pulls down the curtain on this betrayal with her signature fierce delivery. Víctor’s character gets defensive, making excuses and explanations that only get him deeper in trouble.
Víctor explains why this song is becoming an anthem: “I always wanted to record a song with La India, as I greatly admire her talent and career. Furthermore, I consider her to be the most important female artist in salsa. I think ‘Víctimas las Dos’ will be an anthem for all women because it’s a feminist song.
