VIRLÁN GARCÍA Obtiene Su Primer #1 En La Lista Regional Mexican Airplay De Billboard Con Su Éxito “HÍBRIDO”
MIAMI (13 de mayo, 2022) – El reconocido y multifacético cantautor Virlán García obtiene la posiciòn #1 de la lista “Regional Mexican Airplay” de Billboard, con “Híbrido,” posicionándolo como uno de los artistas más importantes y respetados de este género. Virlán se ha caracterizado por ser uno de los creadores más diversos, ya que a lo largo de su carrera ha logrado interpretar diferentes géneros, desde el sierreño hasta el corrido trap o bien una balada romántica.
El corrido sierreño corresponde a su álbum del mismo nombre lanzado en septiembre del 2021, y el cual ha sido reproducido más de 45.1 millones de veces en todas las plataformas digitales, el video más de 19.7 millones en YouTube y ha sido reconocido recientemente por Spotify México como el artista “Radar México”.
Esta es la tercera vez que Virlan García entra al Top 10 del listado “Regional Mexican Airplay” y primera vez que obtiene la posición #1. Previamente apareció en el chart de Billboard con “Quiero Reintentarlo” y “Mi Vida Eres Tú,” posicionándolo como uno de los nuevos talentos de la música regional mexicana.

La verdad que, pues es mi primer número uno después de tantos años queriendo llegar a número uno, habíamos tenido un top ten, pero nunca habíamos llegado al número uno y es una satisfacción muy bonita y todos es gracias también al apoyo de la gente que hace esto posible y esperemos que sea el primer número uno de muchos que vamos a tener de aquí en adelante. Y me siento muy bendecido, contento y entusiasmado en seguir trabajando en hacer música, por esto trabajamos por esto es que vivimos y por esto también agradecemos a la vida, a dios y a nuestro publico que hace nos hace esto posible”, comentó Virlán.
Por si fuera poco, el jueves 12 de mayo, lanzo su sencillo “El Tony”, tema acompañado por Daniel Vázquez, artista emergente y amigo de Virlán. Esta canción es una versión más amigable, pero igual de encendida que los corridos de Híbrido, el más reciente álbum de García. Su agilidad para componer este tipo de historias se ve reflejada nuevamente en esta canción, la cual habla de la lucha por superarse y conseguir todo lo que se necesita para sentir bien. Será del agrado de los amantes de la música del norte que no podrán dejar de escuchar “El Tony” una y otra vez.
VIRLÁN GARCÍA Attains His First #1 On Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay Chart With His Single “HÍBRIDO”
MIAMI (May 11, 2022) – Renowned and multifaceted singer-songwriter Virlán Garcia reaches the #1 spot on Billboard’s “Regional Mexican Airplay” chart, with “Híbrido,” positioning him as one of the most important and respected artists of the genre. Virlán has been characterized as being one of the most diverse creators, ; throughout his career he has been able to interpret different genres, from sierreño to corrido trap and even romantic ballads.
The corrido sierreño corresponds to his latest album of the same name, which has received more than 45.1 million streams across all streaming platforms, its music video has more than 19.7 million views on YouTube and Virlán has recently been recognized as a “Radar México” artist by Spotify Mexico.
This is the third time Virlán García enters the Top 10 on Billboard’s “Regional Mexican Airplay” chart and the first time he earns the #1 spot. He previously entered the chart with singles “Quiero Reintentarlo” and “Mi Vida Eres Tú”, consolidating him as one of the most promising emerging talents of Regional Mexican music.

Almost as if to celebrate the feat, Virlán releases his new single, “El Tony”, featuring Daniel Vásquez, an emerging artist and friend. This song is much more friendly, but just as fiery as the corridos on Híbrido, García’s most recent album. His agility in being able to compose these kinds of stories is reflected again in this song, which speaks to the struggle to overcome and achieve one’s goals. It will bring joy to music lovers of norteño music, and they won’t be able to take “El Tony” off repeat.
