YANDEL estrena el álbum QUIEN CONTRA MI 2 más desafiante que la primera vez
“No Te Vayas” junto a J Balvin marca la salida del álbum y video musical
Impresionante gama de estrellas del género urbano y ámbito internacional como Rubén Blades y Snoop Dogg, dicen presente para acompañar a Yandel en su séptimo álbum como solista
MIAMI (31 de julio de 2020) – Quien Contra Mi,la versión original que marcó el debut como solista de Yandel y trajo a la luz los mega hits “Te Suelto el Pelo”, “Ya Yo Me Cansé” y “Dembow”, estrenó en septiembre del 2003. Ahora acercándose el 17mo. aniversario de esa producción, la súper estrella del género urbano celebra su trayectoria musical y su indudable huella en el mundo de la música urbana presentando Quien Contra Mi 2.
Quien Contra Mi 2 bajo su sello Y Entertainment, no es una secuela más. Los 22 temas y 28 épicas colaboraciones con estelares figuras de la música latina y anglosajonas y el nivel de producción de la creación musical reafirman su liderazgo en la historia del género que con mucho orgullo lleva representando. El lanzamiento oficial de su álbum se une junto a la colaboración con J Balvin en el tema “No Te Vayas” y su video correspondiente filmado en Miami bajo la dirección de Carlos Pérez (Elastic People).
Yandel comenta, “La idea de crear Quien Contra Mi 2 surge durante la cuarentena. Cuando comenzó todo esto yo tenía grabado muchos temas y en una conversación con Andy, mi manejador, le contaba que extrañaba tanto ese contacto con mis compañeros en la música; pero dentro de todo estaba lleno de esperanza y con mucho positivismo y esa actitud me recordó un poco al Yandel que en un principio se tomó tantos riesgos para salir adelante. La pandemia ha traído tanto sufrimiento, pérdidas irreparables y grandes cambios en el mundo del entretenimiento. En mi caso, gracias a Dios, este regalo de estar vivo y con salud me ha impulsado para seguir creyendo en mí, y una vez más apostarle a lo que me apasiona por tanto tiempo: la música”.
Yandel añade, “Aunque en estos momentos no puedo estar con mis compañeros como quisiera, nuestras voces quedan unidas en este álbum y estoy super emocionado de contar con Snoop Dogg y honrado de trabajar junto a Rubén Blades, uno de los artistas que he admirado toda mi vida”
“Fama”, es la primera colaboración de Yandel en un tema con Ruben Blades y con Snoop Dogg.

Acerca de Yandel:
Yandel comenzó su carrera profesional en 1998 y desde ese momento se convirtió en un cantante compositor, músico y productor musical del género urbano puertorriqueño fenomenalmente exitoso. MIAMI (July 31, 2020) – Quien Contra Mi (Who’s Against Me),the original version that marked Yandel‘s solo debut in September 2013, brought to light the mega hits “Te Suelto el Pelo”, “Ya Yo Me Cansé” and “Dembow.” Now approaching the 17th anniversary of that production, the music star celebrates his musical career and his undoubted footprint in the world of urban music by presenting Quien Contra Mi 2 (Who’s Against Me 2).
Quien Contra Mi 2, under his label Y Entertainment, is not just another sequel. The 22 songs and its 28 epic collaborations with stellar reggaeton and mainstream music figures, the production quality and his talent as music creator, re-affirms his leadership in the history of the genre that he has been proudly representing for so many years.
The album release kicks-offs with the collaboration of the great J Balvin with “No Te Vayas” and a music video filmed in Miami under the direction of Carlos Perez (Elastic People).
Yandel comments, “The idea of creating Quien Contra Mi 2 came up while on quarantine. When all this started I had many songs already recorded and in a conversation with Andy, my manager, I told him where I was emotionally and about all of these feelings; how much I missed the personal contact with my music colleagues and at the same time, despite everything, I had hope and was making the effort to stay positive. That attitude reminded the Yandel who in the beginning took so many risks to find a place in this industry. The pandemic has brought so much suffering, irreparable loss, and big changes in the entertainment world. In my case, thank God, the gift of being alive and healthy prompted me to continue to push and believe in myself, and once again, bet on what I’ve been passionate about for so long: music.”
Yandel adds, “I may not be able to be around my colleagues right now, but our voices are united as one in this album and I am over the moon to be able to contribute with Snoop Dogg and honored to have Ruben Blades, one of the artists that I have admired my whole life, as a guest artist.”

Yandel began his career in 1998. He is a phenomenally successful Puerto Rican vocalist, songwriter, musician, and record producer; a reggaetón artist. Having been a bona fide superstar in a solid fifteen-year career with the duo of Wisin & Yandel, he took a new turn as a soloist in 2014, touring the US.
