MIAMI (2 de octubre de 2020) – Nathy Peluso, una de las figuras clave de la escena musical, presenta su esperado nuevo álbum, CALAMBRE. Tras el éxito de su primer sencillo “Sana Sana“, este trabajo sirve para desarrollar el rico universo musical de “La Sandunguera“, en el que coexisten su espectacular reinterpretación del hip-hop y el neo soul de los 2000, la intensa influencia de la música popular latinoamericana y su poderío como artista vocal, capaz de transmitir toda una gama de sensaciones como si fuéramos los asistentes a una función teatral. The Work Is A Journey Through The Musical Imagination Of A Unique Artist
MIAMI (October 2, 2020) – The critically acclaimed Argentine singer songwriter Nathy Peluso presents her debut album CALAMBRE. After the success of her single “Sana Sana,” this album adds more color to the rich musical universe of this artist, who is affectionately known as “La Sandunguera” after her 2018 hit single of the same name. Her music has been described as a reinterpretation of the hip-hop and neo-soul of the 2000s, with strong influences from regional Latin American genres. She has a powerful vocal presence that conveys emotions as a skilled stage actor would.
On September 29, 2020, she received the first two Latin GRAMMY® nominations of her career – for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Song for “Buenos Aires,” a track from Calambre. Within hours of presenting a preview of “SANA SANA” on COLORS, her explosive and empowered performance became a trend of the moment on YouTube.
Calambre is filled with sensuality, feeling and willpower. The musical craftsmanship of Calambre is impressive. Nathy Peluso worked closely with the 13-time Latin GRAMMY® and two-time GRAMMY® winning producer and songwriter Rafa Arcaute, along with such other world-class producers as Illmind, Fede Vindver, Prince’s arranger Michael B. Nelson, and the salsa-music maestro Ramón Sánchez. Among the musicians are members of the band of the Argentine rock pioneer Luis Alberto Spinetta (1950-2012) – Javier Malosetti, Guillermo Arrom and Sergio Verdineli. The resulting work is brilliant, organic and filled with nuances. The songs stand on their own, but also build on each other layer by layer as a succession of triumphs.
