Continúa cosechando logros con su éxito mundial Calma (Remix)
MIAMI (18 de noviembre de 2020) – El ganador de múltiples Latin GRAMMY® Pedro Capó celebra en grande un año lleno de logros y fue sorprendido por parte de su disquera Sony Music Latin con un reconocimiento global el cual incluyó certificaciones de diamante, multiplatino, platino y oro de siete países por su más reciente producción discográfica Munay. A su vez, el éxito global “Calma (Remix)” continúa acumulando triunfos a nivel mundial. (Ver lista completa de certificaciones más abajo).
Munay, el proyecto personal de uno de los artistas latinos más influyentes, está compuesto por 11 temas incluyendo “Calma”, “Calma (Remix)”, “Buena Suerte”, “La Sábana y los Pies” y “Day by Day”. El álbum fue producido por el reconocido productor George Noriega.
Tras convertirse en una estrella a nivel mundial, Capó nos presenta su producción musical más personal y madura con MUNAY. El amor en todas sus facetas sirve de hilo conductor para la nueva producción cuyo nombre significa amor en quechua la cual debutó en la posición número seis en ventas en el “Latin Pop Album Chart” de Billboard®. Este es el tercer álbum del cantautor en debutar dentro del TOP 10 de las listas de ventas.
Capó quiense alzó con dos Latin GRAMMY® durante la pasada entrega en dos codiciadas categorías, “Canción del Año” y en “Mejor Fusión/Interpretación Urbana” por el éxito mundial “Calma” se alista para para presentarse en la próxima entrega de los Latin GRAMMY® donde se encuentra nominado en cuatro categorías.

MIAMI (November 18, 2020) –The multiple Latin GRAMMY® winner Pedro Capó continues riding high during a memorable year of accomplishments. He was recently surprised by his record label, Sony Music Latin, with an exquisite plaque commemorating the global success of his new album Munay, which has garnered Diamond, Multi-Platinum, Platinum and Gold certifications in eight countries (see below for the complete list). Meanwhile, “Calma Remix,” which is included on the album, has earned several certifications worldwide.
With 11 songs including hit singles “Calma,” “Calma (Remix),” “Buena Suerte,” “La Sábana y los Pies” and “Day By Day,” Munay is a personal work by one of Latin music’s most influential artists. It’s produced by the acclaimed talent George Noriega.
After “Calma” made him a global icon, Pedro recorded Munay, whose title means “love” in Quechua, to share his intimate insights and musical maturity. Love in all of its facets serves as a common thread for this album which debuted at #6 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart. This is his third album to debut in the Top 10 in sales.
The overwhelming success of “Calma (Remix)” with Farruko is evident in its long list of accomplishments: Double Diamond certification in Mexico; Diamond in the USA and Peru; multi-Platinum in Latin America and Europe. The song’s original version earned him the 2019 Latin GRAMMY® for Song of the Year, while the remix took home Best Urban Fusion/Performance. The remix also surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube.
